EBay madness

Yeah, Sarah, I was thinking if they had the jar on the counter in the style of a sweeties pick and mix as someone else had said.

Makes you wonder... impulse purchases and all that.

Could that be pig-and-mix? ;)

If someone was to steal some animals from the jar, would that technically be rustling? :scratchhead:

'And any coin collected worth there salt would want this in there collection'

I rest my case, Fukkkwitt seller.

Read down...

I know this to be very rare because it was the only coin I have found in my pocket after a Saturday night out in 22 years!!!

Just thought I would revises my item as it amazes me how people do not read description all the way. No wonder so many people get caught out. This is obviously a pi@@ take

I'm very well aware it only worth a £1 but the amount of people that have offered me a pound with 74p postage!!!

Happy days

I know not your words/spelling, but sometimes I wish I could go FaceBook Grammar Nazi correction mad on some of these EBay adverts. Some of them immediately make me move on as I feel if they can't take due care in their listings, what are they hiding/not doing with the things they are selling.

I'm glad the seller has specifically identified this, because otherwise an ignoramus like me might mistake it for a butchered Dublo N2 worth about a tenner.

And why photograph it on a black shiny surface so we can't really see it? A sheet of white A4 underneath would have made all the difference!

How about this 'rare' coach.

I'd should say it's rare, as Bachmann have NEVER made a Mk3. I wonder if you'd be able to successfully raise a dispute with eBay as its described as coming in its original box?

Well, somebody had better tell him then that underneath this "Rare Mk 3"  the words "Lima, Italy" are inscribed :jester:

From the same seller, there seems to be a SouthWest trains interloper in this Chiltern DMU set.....

I have a sneaking feeling that this is out of gauge too. Like its prototype, the Dublo N2 is quite tall to start with (it needs to be to get the vertical motor in).

The Wills kit of a Taff Vale 0-6-2T used the Dublo 0-6-0T chassis, rather than the more obvious 0-6-2T, for this reason, I think.
