Ian Abel
I just had to post the link AND a screenshot as I can't imagine he'll leave this one up too long before correcting it - unless I missed some part of the HST development and the "first phase" was to shove a couple of hundred people in a somehow self-propelled baggage wagon Of course to add insult to injury, it's a Triang coach, listed in the Hornby section, as a LIMA HST!!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LIMA-MODELS-No-BR-125-HST-INTER-CITY-3-COACH-SET-/301177757267?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item461f97de53#ht_747wt_983

Il Grifone
One would have thought that to justify (in part!) the exorbitant prices, that at least some care would be taken to ensure the correct pictures are shown and the item listed correctly. C&WR
Are this and these really worth this kind of money? If I didn't like my stuff too much I might start a bit of a sale! Edited May 9, 2014 by C&WR

A serial offender....... If your business case is selling high priced 'collectables' it would help to pay a little attention to your listing. ThaneofFife
Oh dont underestimate the buying habits of some folk. If they want it theyll pay so fair play to those holding out for the best money.....and of course the net amount aint anything to get the flags and wine out for after deduction of seller and paypal fees including postage. I had a lima mk1 sealink coach on auction many years ago....the auction bids reached around £49. An australian collector offered me £200 for it and when i told him i had 5 more the deal was done at £1200 plus Fedex. Now here youll get allsorts of negativity about the final sale or BIN prices but collectors reside in other parts of the world and they have no qualms in paying over the odds in order to bag the specific models theyve been looking for... Smiffy2
Their (Rails of Sheffield) ebay pricing always seems optimistic to me, but there's a similar (not repainted with underseal) for £1.95 at the moment. Edited May 9, 2014 by Smiffy2

Swifty11
Personally I'd put this one in! One extremely over priced coach but certainly not easy to come by by all accounts. The funny thing is, you can buy any other coach (except buffet) for between £35-£50 http://bit.ly/1nrdHWc

What have I missed in this pile of tat that makes it worth £26 (+ £5 carriage)? I would have thought around a tenner at the outside, seeing the condition they're in (as correctly described by the seller, who started the lot off at 99p). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-Dublo-OO-Scrapyard-Coaches-Wagons-for-spares-or-repair-/171316737744?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item27e345f6d0 Edited May 11, 2014 by Il Grifone
