Some of those loco crew figures look as if they are bashed from the Airfix NATO Ground Crew set.

As for the image in the second link I sooo wanted one of those as a nipper...

Will not split.....   OK this isn't railways but how often have we seen that?  How about 150 old sewing machines from Germany as a single lot?

http://www.ebay.de/itm/150-Stuck-alte-Nahmaschinenkopfe-Singer-Phonix-Durkopp-Pfaff-Veritas-5595-/171259162579?pt=Alte_Berufe&hash=item27dfd76fd3

Looks like a 'stitch up' to me...  Sorry couldn't help myself

Looks like a german branch of All Saints has closed down.

Well for £85 plus postage you can have one now!!!

It's actually a bit cheaper less expensive

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MATCHBOX-ADVENTURE-2000-No-K-2003-CRUSADER-/301079306919?pt=UK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN&hash=item4619b9a2a7

The item has the wrong picture like a lot of Cra Cartmel's offerings e.g.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DINKY-TOYS-MODEL-No-521-BEDFORD-ARTICULATED-LORRY-FOR-RESTORATION-/400646018111?pt=UK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN&hash=item5d485d143f

It's going to take a lot of restoration to make a Bedford Artic from that! :jester:

How on earth is this 67 worth this much?? Limited edition i know but did they only make 1? :scratchhead:  I expect you could get 3 resprayed into that livery and still have change from that!!

*sharp intake of breath*

I think top whack for one previously was £450.

A repainted body went for £50 or so last week.

Cheers,

Mick

Same seller also has this.  Read the blurb:

"Desirable early Hornby flying scotsman. Good chassis and motor which is complete with lubrication pads. Runs well, no issues with rods and good stop start. Missing buffers at front and pony at back. Plastic has lost its shine but body is sound. Great base for project or restoration. Good luck"

Now see the pic:

Sounds pretty fair to me. At a starting price of 99P, anyone is able to bid as much or as little as they see fit. What else is a seller supposed to do - say that this is a piece of **** and don't bid for it?

well i sold my peak, then got a message to say he had cleaned off the weathering so it looked pristine, that to me is madness.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bachmann-Peak-class-45-renumbered-and-weathered-32-679DS-3rd-carabanier-/201039877810?ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:GB:1123

His perogative, when all is said and done, Michael. It takes all sorts, as the saying goes. Personally, I thought it looked pretty good as it was :good:

Reminds me of the stamp collector who bought all of the known surviving variations of a particular rare stamp, then destroyed all except one in order to increase its value....
