trisonic
The standard of the latest freight cars, in particular, have been amazing across the board, incl. decoupling levers etc., as an example. Due to the new boys on the block? Β Best, Pete.

CraigZ
I am particularly looking forward to the Exactrail Wagon Top box cars... Β http://www.exactrail...p-box-car-b-o-5 Β steve Β They're nice. Very nice. The B&O guys have been pretty impressed by them. The Fox Valley cars have nice bodies but the underframes are kind of spartan. The Exactrail cars are excellent top and bottom. Β The B&O M53 wagontop has been more covered than any other freight car Β - Cannonball Car Shops styrene kit ( primitive at best, unbuildable at worst!) - Sunshine Models resin kit (a challenge to build...) - Wrighttrak resin kit (nice one piece body) - Fox Valley styrene r-t-r - Exactrail r-t-r
autocoach
I saw all the Exactrail B&O wagon top varieties when they came into my local hobby shop being unpacked and pricemarked. Very nice. Best rendition of a very iconic 1940-1950's boxcar I have seen. Nearly all gone immediately to pre-orders.

CraigZ
Athearn's gone the extra mile on this. The Southern's GP38-2 were oddballs with "switcher pilots" and the extra-wide steps...no doubt Athearn will make the walkway lights, the correct horns, etc. Impressive! Β But I also expect the price to be pretty breathtaking too...
