Wild Boar Fell
Hello Ian, Unfortunately I had to stop the BEP project, the test prints warped along the coach length and I have not been able to find a suitable cure for this. RMweb Premium newbryford Posted October 10, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 10, 2015 Back on the drawing board today, After a bit of a rethink, I will be releasing the FFA/FGA's as the Bachmann model is still a long way from completion. I shall try and post a image of the test print tomorrow. Please note the headstock's on the FGA's are not final and need further detailing. CHAS FFA FGA 023.jpg Wild Boar Fell Nice - you could always do them as a FDA pair for sleeper carrying. Cheers, Mick
Barry W
Hello WBF, I too could be very interested in the FGA/FFA flats you are working on, do you think the Colin Craig sprung bogies would be compatible?
ianwales
Hello Again WBF Have you seen the March 2016 Railway Modeller, it contains drawings and photos of the LMS Self Weighing Tenders. Ian
RMweb Gold Richard_A Posted June 5, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 5, 2016 Not quite an RHTT flat/barrier wagon: Definitely too many rivets! PHV Chassis 118 Render.png PHV Chassis 118 Rendera.png Pre production prototype 1: DSC03005s.jpg DSC03015s1.jpg I would have said come along and see the prototype at the Warrington show this weekend, but some twit has left it in the Midlands, the show is definitely worth a visit though. Regards, Wild Boar Fell P.s. More info to follow at sensible hours I appreciate that with the hattons announcement that these will not be at the top of your list, but is anything happening with them? Wild Boar Fell
Hi, whilst we have a large number of parts in stock for these, we don't have the parts to supply complete kits. The Hatton's announcement has meant we have shelved this project unfortunately. We are looking at alternative projects, either to be run by ourselves or Wild Boar Commissions Ltd, our new sister company, but we are not at a point to make any announcements just yet. RMweb Gold Richard_A Posted June 6, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 6, 2016 that's understandable but also a shame as I enjoy building kits and was looking forward to getting some of these.
garethevans1986
WildBoar, the parrot wagon and a few other bits seem to have dissappeared off shapeways - any ideas? Thanks Gareth
Wild Boar Fell
Hi Gareth, just away at the minute, but the Parrot was sold through I.materialise as with the bulk of my wagons, the links to these should be on my website. Regards, Wild Boar Fell Such a item would be better as overlays than 3D printed/resin cast I'd think.
Wild Boar Fell
Such a item would be better as overlays than 3D printed/resin cast I'd think. Plastic-card overlays are being considered as a possible solution to this, using my cameo plotter. There may be progress on this as time allows. Hopefully I can also use it to make a few bits for my new layout too. Wild Boar Fell

richard60098
Hello Everyone, Today I have started work on a new wagon project, The chassis should allow me to model two different wagons, and the body of one should help me design another similar wagon with a different chassis. Here's some photos of the chassis, but can anyone tell me which wagons I am drawing? Answers on the back of a postcard.... PD 016.jpg PD 016a.jpg On the other wagons front, now that I have some funds available I will order the following (if not some others too) Ramp Wagons Diorama (Finally!) Gloucester MK2's with buffers for PXA Sheerness. PXA Sheerness wagon body/ chassis later 3001-7 version box. GPS 25 wagon bogies. Regards, Wild Boar Fell Hi Wild Boar Fell is there any chance of still producing this chassis? I can't find it for sale on your website still chap? Cheers. Satan's Goldfish
Quick show and tell time again. WBF sent me a sample ffa/fga inner test print a while ago as a freebie with some other items I ordered from him. This has now been turned into an FJA with the aid of some s-kits details, bent paperclips, Hornby bogies, and Kadee couplings. Very happy with it I am too, cheers WBF.

RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted September 11, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 11, 2019 A bump for this thread to ask if these ramp wagons are still available to purchase. Might look ok with the Bachmann warflat. https://www.shapeways.com/product/ZPPKG3M2D/ww2-built-ramp-wagon?li=productBox-search

I believe they had a few issues producing them on the last batch. Kind Regards, Wild Boar Fell
