Mike Storey
No-one has announced a Sheerness Steel 102t bogie steel wagon!!! I am very pleased with the one I ordered and will order a few more when I can afford the postage....but these are of a rarer type. What about doing a shell for the other types (3101-3131) plus Schlieren bogie frames?? I need 8!
Wild Boar Fell
Hello Everyone, Recently I have received my first bespoke resin castings, in the form of the prototype hopper bodies for the ICI Hoppers, I am quite pleased with how these have turned out although one shows a little distortion (not shown). I am impressed the casters have managed to make it work whilst being only 0.8mm thick for most of the part. There is a little bit of flash that needs clearing from around the top, and the sink mark (?) in the arched section needs removing too. This certainly opens up possibilities for future projects. rs4
Hi Wild Boar Here are your KFA ends made up prior to painting: The fold over flap works a treat - yet to glue them in place, but look fine to me Regards Nick
rs4
Here you go Mr Wild Boar, a painted KFA using your ends and stanchions: There's a reasonable amount of prep work, then it all comes together into a great model. Regards Nick

Wild Boar Fell
Now that we have got some good weather for a change here are some photos of my crane now that it has been weathered and lined by Grimy Times (I chickened out), I still have the rigging to do and re attach a few parts I didn't glue properly first time, but its mostly complete now. Now just need to build a layout to run it on. Regards, Wild Boar Fell
Jack374
Unfortunately I don't do that era, but if I did Bachmann can stuff themselves as yours is excellent! Would definitely get one if I had an era change! Jack.
Wild Boar Fell
Shock Horror! Something NEW, thats right I have actually got around to doing something else. Okay maybe built that up slightly too much there, I have created some AWS Reservoir tanks for my fleet of kettles as I have a few Black 5's and Jubilees that need their tanks adding and potentially afew GBL 8F's when they come out. I have made these available on Shapeways but they are in a pack of 20. Also in the news is I have recieved the test print of the PHV (ICI Hopper)'s fully detailed chassis, whilst not all the rivets have come out (not much of a surprise) that on the uprights has worked well. I think more detail will be visible after priming. I am going to announce shortly that the format of this kit will be altered in response to a recent announcement, which shall hopefully make the kit cheaper without loosing any detail. Some design progress has also been made on the Stanier Self weighing tender, but more detailing is still required (to the bulkhead? and lifting eyes etc). Wild Boar Fell
Cheers SG, Good to meet you too, and to see Warren Lane for the first time. Here are some of my rather biased photos from the weekend (I shall put the unbiased ones on Flickr later), The canvas roof containers add a further bit of variety. Thanks also Graham for your kind comments about the crane, yours is certainly looking the part! Regards, Wild Boar Fell
