Shot this one at Conway yard nr Pittsburgh back in 2000, anyone else remember the old Walthers kit versions of their funnel-flow tank cars that were near impossible to build without looking awful? I've got one in reserve for a project a bit like this!

Β

CR725576 is the flatcar (not sure if it's an old piggyback flat, or maybe ex Autorack?) - with NATX50810 is the unfortunate tank.

I like those tank cars.yes I remember trying to make ome whilst on the Canadian for two days and trying to get the two tank halves to stick together...ended up wedging the tank between the seat and budd coach wall overnight whilst asleep in the seats! Still got those tank cars somewhere.
