The University of Oregon Ducks are the arch-rivals of the Oregon State University Beavers.

There's a cafe in the harbour of Port d'Andratx in Mallorca which is frequently invaded by ducks, who spend the rest of the day bobbing about in the salt water outside quacking grumpily at the tourists. A sign like that would be useful, but only if the ducks' English is up to the mark.

Am I the only one to see model railway track in that photo?

Yes, it is for the Scotch Flyer.

(Do you see what I did there?)

'Ow do, doocks!  My auntie Nora, who lived in Tamworth, used to say that a lot.  Born in the Rhondda (Wattstown), she'd lost all trace of her native Welsh accent.  Auntie Kate, who'd moved to Luton, had kept hers.

There were no ducks inside this shop therefore we can conclude that ducks in Norfolk can read.

By the way it’s very nice to spend a day on a Norfolk broad.
