Better are the deliberate but not immediately obvious elements like the arrow in the FedEx logo or the Amazon smile as an arrow from A → Z (meaning they offer everything from A to Z).

I prefer the unintentional ones:

I know a few people who must come from this town.

Town? With a population of 69 that isn't even a village; it's a hamlet. How can they get away with calling it a city?

So dog walkers finding dead bodies isn't just a murder mystery cliche after all.

No, but I've been told that finding two on separate occasions makes you feel that the  Police are looking  sideways at you...

I've always thought of that song as the creepy stalkers anthem...

That was sort of the subject of it when written. IIRC various radio stations thought it was a pop/love song when it came out not having actually listened to the lyrics which are a quite dark.

To escape the public eye, Sting retreated to the Caribbean. He started writing the song at Ian Fleming's writing desk on the Goldeneye estate in Oracabessa, Jamaica.[13] The lyrics are the words of a possessive lover who is watching "every breath you take; every move you make". Sting recalled:

Many of the songs by The Police have quite dark lyrics that contrast with the catchy tunes - "Don't stand so close to me", "Wrapped around your finger" come to mind. "Roxanne" is less dark, but there are relatively few rock songs about prostitutes.

I always loved the phrasing of:

He starts to shake and cough
Just like the old man in
That book by Nabokov

The version make in association with Spitting Image had very much more thought provoking lyrics, some of which are still appropriate today, second verse could have been written for Donald

Every bomb you make
And every job you take
Every heart you break
Every Irish wake
I’ll be watching you…

Every wall you build
And everyone you've killed
Every grave you've filled
All the blood you've spilled
I’ll be watching you…

Oh, can't you see?
You belong to me
There’ll be a bill to pay
On that judgement day...

For every empty plate
And every word of hate
Those who violate
I’ll be watching you…
