They've obvious not heard of a Reliant Robin.

Officially it is a "Motor Tricycle" like that beastie shown, not a car.

 

When I lived in Keswick I often saw a 3 seater motor trike, it was used for tours of the mountains for people that liked the open air.

They are quite common in places like the Lakes and N. Yorkshire
