Prof Klyzlr Posted November 7, 2011 Share Posted November 7, 2011 Dear RMWeb team,  I re-found the following pic in my "quick download" dump folder, but for the life of me can't remember - where/which site I found it on - where the proto location is  I _think_ - it's Union Pacific - gensets shoving a local - along a channel tributary of the Los Angeles River - somewhere in LA  but would love to confirm, if only to give somewhere to start hunting via Bing/GoogleMaps...   So, does it ring a bell with anyone?  Many Thanks in advance,  Happy Modelling, Aim to Improve, Prof Klyzlr  PS have re-checked with RRPictureArchive, RailPictures, LocoPhotos, and RailcarPhotos, but not sure if I was hitting the right search-terms... It looks to have the EMD cab profile AND when you expand the pic, I'm sure I can see the line between the radiators on the end of the long hood! Not much to go on but where do GP15's run, nowadays? There are some very interesting industrial spurs further north with some 'tight' curves into buildings and the engine house to the south (other side of the river) with a turntable seems to have a steam loco on the yard track.
