It is high time that I started a topic in which links can be placed to French Railways and modelling both within RM Web and to external sites.

I've just done a quick search and found these links; I know there are more so perhaps you can add to the list - please?

SNCF Branch Line Terminus in N

Railways in Brittany

SNCF Freight

DJH SNCF Class 231D

SNCF 232 U1 - Options?

French Summer

SNCF (Does anyone out there model French Railways?)

There's a start.....

Hi Dave,

Thanks for posting links to 2 of my articles. My blog has a lot of detail about my French modelling (currently there are a fair few projects on the go):

My layout (SNCF Branchline Terminus in N) became a through line and I have recently made the decision to dismantle the layout.

I always enjoy having a browse through the "Votre Reseau" section on this web site:

There are some stunning layouts on there!

I have a bit of a fancy for French railways too, here are the links I've found most useful and inspiring:

SNCF Society - I'm not a member but it's a good jumping off point, check out their links.

Paris en images - What it says, top tip - type 'Bercy' into the search box, 11 pages heavy with the rail transport of wine.

Manche - Ocean - Huge resource with pages leading off pages, plans too. Enjoy.

Forums LR PRESSE - French language forum, use the search function it's top rate.

I have used this site for referemce over a good number of years.

Why not? As SNCF Stephan says it is excellent value for money with top notch and up to date information as well as historical data.
