Pugsley
Careful now Pete, you'll have Jordan all of a quiver if you carry on like this Β Nice pic - I've spent hours looking at SP stuff on that site, it's great.
F-UnitMad
Shut up Pugs I was just typing a reply when you posted!!! I'm not all of a quiver, just glad that Pete has good taste in Railroads... Β Picture dates from 1999 I note. Technically a CP Rail train, by then... still it does show that Soo Line engines could get quite far from 'home' rails at times...
doctor quinn
Nice matched pair of locos there. Β Speaking of getting a long way from home rails, I saw a CP Rail SD40-2 in a consist of UP locos in San Antonio on a southbound train of autoracks. dave1905
Didn't the CP have trackage rights down the former D&H into the New York and Philadephia area? Β I remember seeing some CP engines in the Delaware Avenue in Phillie.

Β I remember seeing some CP engines in the Delaware Avenue in Phillie. Considering they had a majority share in, and later took over the D&H (just like the Soo) they probably did have trackage rights.....
