RMweb Premium melmerby Posted August 3, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 3, 2011 My brain seized up years ago. Its been a while since I could chew bubblegum and walk in a straight line at the same time. You'll make a good president then! Keith
hollywoodfoundry
A good squirt of WD40 in each ear works wonders. Brain goes like the clappers. Mind you, I can't hear a thing anymore
RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted August 4, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 4, 2011 You'll make a good president then! Keith President George W. Bush had an I.Q. of only 86! Bit frightening as it was his finger on the nuclear button. (But who had their finger on his button?)
trisonic
Sorry, that is an urban myth! Funny though. We tend to forget he was a trained fighter pilot (even if he never fought). Of recent Presidents I'd rather go for a beer with him and Bill Clinton (who was a Rhodes Scholar) but that's neither here nor there. Best, Pete. froobyone
The whole story is a hoax. Bet those people who felt superior, feel a bit silly now... A story which suggested that users of Internet Explorer have a lower IQ than people who chose other browsers appears to have been an elaborate hoax. In rebuttals it's quoted as 125 (above average), but look at it this way, he was clever enough to be the President!
Guest Max Stafford
It's a bit like Reagan - a helluva lot more switched on than made out by certain elements of the media. Sadly, Alzheimers got him in the end though. Makes me wonder if you can overwork your brain to the point that you burn it out, bearing in mind the responsibilities of a late Cold War era leader! It seems Mrs T has a bit of dementia too. Dave.

BBC News http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-14389430 Not as silly as those who missed the fact that we (well most of us) discussed this yesterday - go back a page

RMweb Premium 2ManySpams Posted August 5, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 5, 2011 Citrix 'Gotomeeting' works with Firefox. Being forced to use Citrix all day at work I never thought I'd see someone use the words "Citrix" and "Works" in the same line ;-)
