pH
The British Columbia Society of Model Engineers has a large scale model railway in Confederation Park in Burnaby BC. This is a link to their website, which is still under construction - http://bcsme.org/?q=bcsme_facilities . They have over 2 miles of 7.5" gauge track on the site, and it's open to the public on summer weekends. Here's a few pictures of what was running this afternoon (not all prototypical!): Β

pH
I've just looked a bit more at the BC Society of Model Engineers website. The Northern (3601) in the second picture I posted above has an interesting history. It was designed by Henry Greenly, chief engineer of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and was built in England. It worked there for about 20 years at Kenton, Cleethorpes and Goodrington before coming to North America.
