Ken Taylor Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 I purchased a Nucast kit of the LMS Beyer Garratt( with two motors and this has been assembled for me by an experienced member of my club. Unfortunately the motors (one or both I'm not sure) seem to overheat and the loco comes to a halt. and won't work again until it has cooled off. We're pretty sure the motion is working freely and the motor(s) are not binding inside the bunkers. Has anybody had a similar experience either with this loco or a two motor loco generally? My aim is to fit DCC chips but I dare not do this whilst the loco is getting too hot. Any advice gratefully received! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
