Signaller69
Having missed this thread with its esteemed content until now, can I add "Crinan" to the list please? A "might have been" terminus set in the small but well known canal village of Crinan on the Argyll Coast. 4mm Scale, 16.5mm Gauge. Dimensions 17'6" x 2' approx. Set c.1970 (more broadly 1967-72), pre-TOPS diesels, allowing variations in liveries on locos and coaching stock. Thread link: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/111037-crinan/ The layout attends a few shows per year (invites always welcome), next ones being Darlington (31st Aug/ 1st Sept 2019) and Alsager MRS Crewe in November 2019. Edited August 22, 2019 by Signaller69 To amend shows list.
The diesel dork
Portnachulish station building 3D printed, painted and weathered. Fictitious terminus had there been an eastwards extension of the line from Ballachulish further along Loch Leven. 11

class26
FORSINARD AND THE FAR NORTH Began in summer 2020 this layout seeks to represent Forsinard station in full, a section of Flow Country and end in Thurso. It is built in a newly constructed shed measuring 24 x 12. The layout will operate in two periods, both BR blue using Class 24/1& 26`s and then later with 37`s. Here are a few photos but the layout is a long way from being even a quarter finished. There is a thread on the layout pages with the same title. Popular Post westhighlandline
For those of you not following any of the many Facebook groups: I've built a small micro-layout (or nano-layout) as a tribute to Neil Rushby's Shell Island. It's N gauge and inspired by the surroundings of the little coastal village of Ellenabeich on the isle of Seil. Basically, this is not a Lockdown project ... rather something that took my mind off never ending work within the last few months. Hope you enjoy! 18
Arrochar
Arrochar and Tarbet in OO My representation of this part of the West Highland Line is beginning to take shape. Located in the loft of the family home, the layout is OO scale and will be current (ish) era. My aim for the layout is to be reasonably true to the real-life location without getting too hung up on accuracy, and to try to replicate - as best I can - some of the excellent scenic modelling of other members of this forum. However, it’s the first layout I’ve built for decades so we’ll see how that goes… I haven’t started a thread yet as I don’t have a lot of free time for modelling, let alone documenting progress, however, I may start one at some point to update on an infrequent basis. There’s a long way to go with the layout. Here are a few photos which show the extent of progress to date: The view looking south from the vicinity of the station platform. A shot of the platform (with station buildings by Braeside Models). 67016 in the sidings after the first phase of ballasting was completed.
