johna
Folks What would be the best way to add lighting to the oval roof of a Knightwing oo gauge fuel point? The fuel point only serves a single road. Regards Johna
AMJ
There are two options that are available (i) use some of the micro/surface mount LEDS - use one post to feed +ve wire the other for the -ve (ii) fibre optic's and the light source under the board. See sugestions in http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php/topic/36282-oo-gauge-building-exterior-lighting/
Poindexter
Hi I made my own using SMD LEDs (it is not the oval roof but the principal is the same). here are the details http://www.rmweb.co....post__p__374767 Total cost about £1 for both sides. Pic below. Alternatively you could buy a kit from Express Models. Here's a link http://www.expressmo...ERNATIONAL.html (ii) fibre optics and the light source under the board. Hmm now there is an idea for future plans Thanks. Any questions about what I did please ask. Guy
