The Junction
Sorry if I am being a nuisance but are there any online reviews of the N guage Dapol ferry van in Cargowaggon livery when it came out in 2008 please? Searched the Products category in the RMWeb archive for 2008 but no reviews by members. Thanks
The Junction
Somebody has managed to get me a review from a model railway magazine. Thanks for all the viewings.

Edwin_m
I seem to remember Ben Ando being very impressed by this wagon in Model Rail mag, though it was probably the original plain silver livery. His one criticism as I recall, that I can agree with, is that it needs a little extra weight. This is however very easy to add.
RMweb Gold Revolution Ben Posted April 24, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 24, 2011 Hi all, It's a fine model. Some may wish to add weight but that's easy. They do benefit from weathering (the real ones are often pretty grubby) but that's all. I'm very happy with mine! Cheers Ben A.
Etched Pixels
Yep I would agree with that. Only problems I had was that the NEM pockets are a tiny fraction too far from the buffer beam, but unless you are replacing them with couplers which exactly rely on NEM lengths (eg Profi) you aren't going to care Weathering really brings them out although in fact it's close to repainting the amount of crud they have on them most of the time. Stoker
I have to agree with what everyone has said already. There's not a great deal of weight there, and they look far better with a coat of railmatch frame dirt. Other than that it's quite an impressive model, with lots of seperately applied details like brake wheels etc. I'm really grateful for my pair, the hobby has gone way too long without this wagon.
