Beresford Junction
Thanks Scott, The crane is a Walthers Kit - on Page 17 - a long long time ago it seems... http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/30983-beresford-junction/page-17 I had forgotten how orange it was before I painted it! Removed a/c
Cheers Phil !! Hardly recognizable now, looks great. We even had a chat on that page about intercity locos, can't believe that was when I first started back in the hobby. Beresford Junction
Good afternoon all - it's not often I say that. Having an afternoon off to look after sickly children, and managed to sneak downstairs to install the new LED lighting - when I say install I really mean peel off the backing paper and stick it on - very easy. This is how it comes - just wire it in and bingo. I must do something about that wiring hanging down.... Mine also came with a 'controller' that allows you to do light effects - not sure I'll make use of it that much. Phil
Beresford Junction
And here is the video, however the camera hasn't quite captured how fast it strobes. Don't watch if you're affected by flashing lights!

Beresford Junction
All looking great those lights are excelent might have to get them to light some of eskboroughs buildings up where did you get them? David Hi David They're very good - I got them from a well known on-line auction site. Just search for "3528 SMD 300 LED Strip Lighting DC 12V" I bought 5m of them with a power adapter (and the magic stobe controller) for just over £10. You can chop them up into small sections. An excellent purchase - thanks to Poindexter for the original suggestion. Phil Phil
Beresford Junction
Second level looks great Phil. You must be really pleased with it. A nice clean area to keep all of your stock. Guy Thanks Guy The downside is that the second board is just the right height for the little Beresford Junctions to reach - I'm thinking of adding some perspex to the front to keep them out! artizen
The lighting effects look just right for the forthcoming zombie apocalypse! I feel cheated - my LEDs didn't come with strobe. But I can buy one with multiple colours and chase function! Christmas layout anyone?
Beresford Junction
Morning AllI know it's been a long time coming, but here's the first full run up the helix.Ian - you'll be glad to see I've added some more bracing, or in my case random bits of wood screwed on at a jaunty angle. I've only got the one at the other end to build now!Phil
