Del
I managed to drop my Dapol Pug and broke the chimney off, so I need a replacement. Does anyone make an exact replacement (pref.metal) or one that might be suitable? Would Dapol have spares, maybe from the old Airfix kit?
Rail-Online
Hi, High Level do one I believe, normally part of their chassis kit. Cheers tony
corax67
Turned brass replacement chimneys are available from: http://www.modelsignals.com/4mm_scale_frame.htm ref: LYRC001 about 3/4 down the page for the grand sum of £2.50 1

What they also show is how malnourished the original Dapol one is. On the left, the original, on the right, the one fitted with the 51L replacement chimney as part of the project based around installing a High level chassis kit, built to P4. Note that High Level do NOT supply the chimney in their kit. There are a number of lost wax castings, but this is not one of them. The kit is superb, the chimney makes the model that touch better. corax67
For 7mm you could take a look at the neat stuff from Smallbrook Studio Kits range http://www.smallbrookstudio.com/page_1201118902437.html
Del
Whilst wandering around the Dartford show, I found a trader with various turned metal chimneys at £2 a go, so I selected a couple of likely candidates. Both look like they will suit, just a question now of which one I like the look of most.

HTH Flymo Regretably, Wizard / Model Signals are out of stock of Pug chimneys; (they'll be back in stock "when the guy who makes them can be bothered to make some")! Can anyone suggest an alternative source of supply, please? Regards, John Isherwood. Edited October 2, 2019 by cctransuk

Steamport Southport
I mean the one Rex has highlighted. Sevenscale/Springside rather than a 4mm version. On 21/01/2011 at 23:01, RedgateModels said: Anyone do a 7mm one? Jason

October 2019 - looking for replacement chimneys for 4mm. scale Dapol / Hornby L&YR 'Pug' locos; Wizard / Model Signal can't assist. ... or am I going to have to trawl Ebay for built Kitmaster / Airfix / Dapol 'Pugs' to cannibalise? Steamport Southport
The only one I know about is the 51L version. For some reason he's been out of stock of most of the L&Y stuff for a while. I'm after the carriages to go with the 2-4-2T. Peters Spares had the chimneys until recently. They are selling the Hornby bodies cheap as well. https://www.petersspares.com/Hornby-x82378-pug-body-0-4-0-lms-black-gold-lettering-no-11232.ir Including without a cab for £4.69 https://www.petersspares.com/Hornby-x8238-pug-body-lms-11232-less-cab-oo-gauge.ir Jason

There are a couple of chimneys listed in the detailing parts list http://www.ragstonemodels.co.uk/uploads/4/8/6/4/48647195/fittings_list_2018_v1.0.pdf I fitted the brass one
