So Arsenal will have no recognised striker, for the FA Cup match at Stamford Bridge - such a shame!

You can forgive his confusion.

Both Arsenal and the team that is playing away at Chelsea this evening have managers who are world-class moaners.

Easy to confuse the 2. Both play in red. Both have moaning managers, both are underachieving, both are owned by foreigners that have no football knowledge, both have supporters that think they are entitled to win every match, and both have their biggest fan base in the SE. :sungum:

Possibly the greatest night in the club's history seeing off Seville 2-0 at the King Power  Leicester City Stadium yesterday.to reach the last eight of the Champions League.

It's great to have the Leicester City of last season back again and Lady Luck back on our side, which is always useful in a knockout competition.

Last season's first choice XI (Kante excepted) playing 4-4-2 and doing the limited range of simple things they do very well with not much possession, lots of fight, energy. and backs to the wall defending in a hostile bear pit of a stadium.

If only Ranierii hadn't chucked last season's successful blueprint completely in the bin and hadn't tinkered .... and tinkered,,,,and tinkered again, he could have been sitting at Europe's high table with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, et al with his little old Leicester City. and waiting for Friday's Champions League Quarter Final Draw.....

Just need a decent away result against the Hammers on Saturday now and I'll believe we've finally turned the corner in the Premier League.too.

Eight years ago yesterday we won 1-0 with a Steve Howard goal at Millwall in League One.....

It will be interesting to hear Gary Lineker's thoughts about Leicester City's progress since changing their manager ! Yes, Claudio Ranieri is a thoroughly decent man and did an incredible job last season, but the only way they were going this time around was down.

A good win for Oldham against my team Oxford Utd last night, our already slim chance of making the play-offs seems to have gone now. Still, after promotion last season, I'm happy with consolidation this season, and we still have a Wembley Cup Final to look forward to. And, whatever happens, we're doing better than Swindon Town......

I'll think you'll be fine in the PL this season now the manegerial problems are over, for now.

We'd rather like the 3 points on Saturday too. Hoping you're a bit tired after yesterdays exersions.

Well done, Leicester. An amazing run of results for a team/club new to European football.

Just hope they don't win C1 and get relegated. The fixture congestion next season would be unmanageable.

Right all you football experts are Leicester City worth a flutter to win the Champions League :sungum:

Depends what odds you are offered. They need to do well in another 5 games against top-class opposition. That is probably 100/1 territory.

Oh, well. At least there won't be two Premier League teams drawn against each other in the quarter finals of the Champions League.

Just goes to show though, that once Leicester got their work ethic, team spirit back together, it can do a lot more for you than having a team full of overpaid prima donnas.

Sadly it doesn't say much for the strength in depth of the Premier League, when Leicester City's bunch of journeymen with one game plan were able to win the Premier League by clear 10 points last season, and have now reached the last eight of the Champions League, despite being in a Ranieri induced collective coma until very recently, outlasting the "big guns" of Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City.

At least the Champions of England are still in the Champions League......for now.....

Which has probably lengthened the odds to 200/1.

If only....the odds are still a bit mean ranging between 20/1 to 33/1 - even though it's the one and only chance a punter will get to make such a bet in this lifetime.

I see J Vardy and Co have decided to turn up for games.

It was easy for them to "turn up" once Ranieri's chains and straight jackets had been thrown off and they were free to run about again and concentrate on what they're good at.

I hope you're not a trolling Sheep or Trees fan.......

With only eight teams left in it, 33/1 should be decent odds. But with five matches to play well in, I agree with you that it's a bit mean.

That said, bookies odds are the result of money being placed, so some punters are clearly going for it. There's a bloke in Cheltenham who needs to lay about £15,000 at those odds to make back what he lost on a favourite yesterday.
