luckymucklebackit
more chance of england hosting it as we have the infrastructure ready built that others dont scotland still wont qualify True, and England will only have two games in the tournament rather than three before they sack their manager! RMweb Premium Colin Posted January 11, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 11, 2017 Sad to read of the passing of former Hammer Francois Van Der Elst at the age of 62, following his having suffered a cardiac arrest. West Ham only signed him towards the end of his career but he was always one to watch - quick and skilful with a fierce shot. R I P.

RMweb Premium Colin Posted January 12, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 12, 2017 Fun and games at the Ann Summers Stadium - surprise, surprise, Payet's finally thrown his toys out of his pram. It's been coming for a while - methinks pretty much since the start of the season. Get rid and move on!!!!

RMweb Premium Colin Posted January 12, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 12, 2017 I assume they will be stopping his ages whilst he doesn't want to play. One can but hope! Apparently he had been told that he could go at the end of the season but has become impatient for a move. So much for integrity and class. A lot of Hammers fans won't forget this easily. Horsetan
....the Ann Summers Stadium..... Never did I think I'd see the day when a stadium would bear the name of a supplier of intimate activity products, but there you go....

62613
The Sheridan Effect! Or is it New Manager Syndrome?
RMweb Premium Colin Posted January 14, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 14, 2017 West Ham were like a whole new team today! Ironically, as somebody remarked on a fan website, it looks like Payet has done the club a huge favour - other players stepped up when needed and after a turgid first half and a tactical reshuffle they played as a TEAM, something which had been missing for much of the season. On this showing, Payet won't be missed and the sooner he is sold, the better.
steve1
And now Harry Kane is hitting top form. Come on you Spurs! steve

Ohmisterporter
Well done Buckie Thistle; 100 goals in 24 games in the Highland League. In top place ahead of Brora Rangers, which makes a change.

cary hill
I see little old Leicester City are now the 20th "richest club" the world according to the Deloitte 2017 Money League. cary hill
At least they're not 20th in the League... Not yet....but the alarming rate at which Ranieri is currently regressing back to bad "Tinkerman" gives cause for concern when coupled with the fact that not one single player in the squad is playing at anywhere near last season's level....... ......and the all signings since this time last year have proved unsatisfactory and have contributed little to the cause and nothing to team spirit..........apart from that everything is fine, once you accept that last season was a brilliant one-off which can never be repeated
