My girlfriend was having a migraine about a fortnight ago and called in sick, but had a bad conscience about it all the same, even though it definitely is no good for anyone to be working in this condition. She said she was sure her mum had instilled her with those qualms as she usually did not allow her to stay home from school when ill, except in the event of her having a fever.
