There are three IMO sessions in the space of three weeks (I am heading off to London again next weekend) and part of my job is to provide summaries of documents, an analysis of positions and possible outcomes and draft interventions (I drafted and submitted our own submissions weeks ago). I always think whinging about a job I willingly accepted a bit stupid as it's a major (the core) part of it but three meetings in five weeks is pretty intense. It's over 300 submissions across the three meetings, some of which are ridiculously bloated. Some delegations can write a very tight, succinct document using normal language, others write voluminous submissions that go on forever using turgid language designed to look clever and legalistic and which really don't say much. Sounds like you need some help from some AI to do all that for you.......... 3 5

We are shortly setting off to collect Vickie, Ava and Evie, we will then head off for our regular drink and a slice at a local cafe. After that we are once again going to the Trafford Centre, as Vickie and Evie want to do some shopping. Apparently WE are also doing some more shopping too. I just hope it isn’t as expensive as yesterday was! Oh well, like I keep telling Sheila, there are no pockets in shrouds and if we don’t spend it, the kids will! Back later. Brian. Trafford Centre... on a wet Saturday....many hours of fun in the car park
Grizz
Medical Dictionary definition - Kajagoogoo - injury to testicular region, usually resulting from leaping out of, or into a motor vehicle without first checking the whereabouts of the seat belt. Maybe that’s what made his hair stand up on end? 1 2 1

They say the 70's was the decade that style forgot, but I say that the 80's was the decade that style got dragged from its bed, driven to a lonely bush site, was forced to dig its own grave then got shot a dozen times before being covered in dirt sticks and leaves , then got dug up again and had petrol poured on it and lit, then the embers got stamped all over by elephants before being flushed down a toilet, then its home was carpet bombed with napalm. And then salted. Very good of her to wear a dress where it would not be noticed she was on her knees the entire time so as not to show how incredibly short he really was. 1

We went on a tram tour of Lisbon and the refreshments were tarts from the Belem shop and wine. The tour was mainly US and UK passengers from our cruise ship. Most of the Americans declined the cakes and alcohol so for the rest of us there were seconds. In a traffic jam, one of the couriers got off and bought back bottles of water and soft drinks for those who had declined alcohol. I am not sure which part of the ship those US citizens came from, the Americans in our onboard restaurant didn’t seem to have any problems with alcohol or cakes. 15
