Well I suppose it's different from all that must and fug you had the other day. A bit of variety never goes amiss. 12 1
Popular Post Grizz
Yep……my name is Grizz…and during the early 1970s I owned and wore a Black, Orange and Grey hoop striped, knitted tank top. RMweb Premium Popular Post polybear Posted March 2 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 2 Bear here.... late up (0700); not sure about today yet - need to post a card and also see if the co-op is open again. Looks like it's gonna be piddlin' down for much of the day (esp. am). Dunno what the plan is at the moment - the tiggerbounce is somewhat deflated this morning bg
RMweb Premium Popular Post TheQ Posted March 2 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 2 Hmm weather forecast says dry and intermittently cloud, weather radar shows a lot of yellow and red heading loosely in this direction... Mooring Awl, 4.5 hours sleep long awake 1.5 hours sleep could do with more. Must have had more rain overnight as house and trees are still dripping. Puddles way over max and flowing down the road. Currently mostly blue welkin with fluffy white clouds, but there is an ominous bank of grey cloud to the south and west. Winds light, but increasing. Ben the I'd like out Collie, took me on patrol, we'd not gone far when there was a shot in the distance, and then Ben wanted back to the house. Never had a tank top.... Mum knitted cardigans..... I noticed a TV presenter yesterday she was wearing trousers that completely hid her feet and dragged on the floor and seemed to stay the same diameter all the way up.. not flares but equally as silly. Road traffic checked on line, OK, one bit of flooded road in Wroxham but not too deep. 25 minutes till heading to small parallel bits of metal on show. Hmm wind has really just got up. Time to finish this muggacoffee before departure.

Not completely realistic, he needs a chest rug and a goldish medallion to complete the ensemble! And if you didn't have a tank top, a Huggy Bear saggy knitted jacket was essential... RMweb Premium Popular Post New Haven Neil Posted March 2 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 2 Happy birthday Ian! Morning, from a rock that is a miserable 4c, showers but no breeze to speak of. Mrs NHN off getting Pilated, I didn't bother going out with her for a walk as the cold and damp makes my hips seize up. I just can't go fast enough to get heat into things, I have about an 8c threshold. I also had notices the female newscasters wearing those ridiculous trousers, what goes around comes around, but no way am I ever wearing flares again! Or Pod shoes. Or Oxford Bags. 4 14 1
RMweb Premium Popular Post PhilJ W Posted March 2 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 2 Morning all from Estuary-Land. It appears my computer is going on the blink. RMweb Gold Popular Post DaveF Posted March 2 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted March 2 Happy birthday Ian. At the moment there is some blue sky and bits of sun, the forecast is for sleet followed by rain for the rest of the day. It is 1°C in the garden. I had a good shower this morning for the first time as the dressing fell off. It seems healed. The plan for today is to get in the car, make sure it starts and then try a short dirve. Where I go depends on how comfortable I find it but probably to the Quayside, have a short walk and then home again, possibly via the Tesco Extra for a newspaper. Then the rest of the day will be a bit of tidying up as some things can now go away which I only needed for the first few days back home. Then it will be the usual reading, TV, music and perhaps a bit of modelling if I can sit at the table in comfort. Yeterday evening did turn out to be mainly TV, a concert by a band (Captain Cook und seine singende saxophones) on a German TV station and then another Swiss trip, this time from Arosa to Chur in quite deep snow. In the UK I think Network Rail and the TOCs would have packed in for the day if there was that much snow. David 21
RMweb Premium Popular Post BSW01 Posted March 2 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 2 Good morning everyone Well, it’s raining here again, what a surprise, not! We are shortly setting off to collect Vickie, Ava and Evie, we will then head off for our regular drink and a slice at a local cafe. After that we are once again going to the Trafford Centre, as Vickie and Evie want to do some shopping. Apparently WE are also doing some more shopping too. I just hope it isn’t as expensive as yesterday was! Oh well, like I keep telling Sheila, there are no pockets in shrouds and if we don’t spend it, the kids will! Back later. RMweb Premium Popular Post PhilJ W Posted March 2 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 2 The computer seems to be OK for now. I switched it off and on again, that seems to do the trick. I'm still looking into getting a new one as this one is so old that it will cost a lot to repair and as Windows 10 will no longer be supported from March 2025. 1
RMweb Premium Popular Post polybear Posted March 2 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 2 Bear's back..... Well I waited until it stopped raining so it'd be safe for A Certain Bear to head off down to The Land of Cake 😃 fruit & veg ☹️ (aka The Co-op). It seems that it was "done" last night as suspected; it seems that numerous other branches have also been "done" recently, as was the local Tesco a few days ago. B'sterds. The good news is they went for cash, so the Pizza/Cake/Chips are safe; the other good news is the anti-scrote smoke went off so hopefully they got stained by it - apparently you need some sort of chemical to remove it. The bad news? It was chuckin' it down went I went to leave - so I'm now a Rather Soggy Bear...... Poo BG

Won’t be supported “for free” after that date. Individual owners will be able to subscribe to updates after that, like business users. Well, that was what it said in one of the IT profession news websites I still seem to subscribed to. 15

RMweb Premium Popular Post southern42 Posted March 2 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 2 ' morning all from red dragon land. Happy birthday wishes to Ian. Blue sky. Jack distributed a lot of his white stuff around the area overnight. Sun just arriving above the nor'west facing hill to dispel it. 1.0C risen to 2.9C Brrr and brrrrr. Snow above 2000ft so that lets us off! 😁 Family tracking stuff to pass to and fro between family members to do today. Sis has been busy sorting out stuff that belonged to mum. So quite a bit to get on with. I shall, however, have a toot on the flute in front of the fire while I still have the chance. We usually let the fire go out last day of March, clean the stove and sweep the chimney, unless it gets really cold, and let the storage heaters take over while necessary. That is my day sorted. Take care. Be good. Take a deep breath before you start. Polly 21
