Morning All!

I'm off on a quest;  who knew purchasing distilled water could be so difficult .....

Last year a visitor from Australia was visiting Cornwall and got bitten by an adder.

You'd think they'd be more careful....

I bet there's not much difference in the price between that and a similar quantity of Aldis cheapest whiskey....

This morning I’ll mostly be eating….microwaved melted cheese and beetroot sandwiches.

I don't understand beetroot at all...

And the proximity of the grease is worrying!

the use of different 'to' rather than the correct different 'from' in the latest lexicon dictionary acceptable word usage.

At my school it was drummed in by, "Similar to, different from" accompanied by a slap round the back of the head. Which may explain a lot.

I remember a Punch cartoon of a council employee repainting a white line in the middle of the road, replicating the outline of a busty young lady waiting at a bus stop...

Oh….well it seems to me that beetroot is kind of a ‘Marmite’ vegetable.

Number two cub and I love beetroot, hot or cold. Mrs Grizz and number one cub think that it tastes muddy and can’t stand the stuff.

We eat liver pate (leverpostej) and beetroot (rødbede) on rye bread. Classically Danish and lovely with a beer or schnapps.

The grease is an optional extra…😄

Morning all from Estuary-Land. A bit lot of dampness last night but its now cleared away. Apparently it will stay dry for the next week which suits me fine as Arthur Itis is now in hiding. Still a bit of rearranging of the boxes and contents to do. The boxes that I have come in two sizes 18 litre and 35 litre (the only difference is height so they stack easily enough) I have an item that is a bit too big for an 18 litre box and a 35 litre box that is less than half full so I'm going to swap over the contents this morning.

I love beetroot, as long as it's not saturated in vinegar, best boiled and peeled, allowed to cool and then eaten as you would an apple.

No, I relented and went to the big river* .......     I'll just have to be patient and wait for it to turn up.

*  As a supplier of the water not the source of the water 🤣

Presumably to ease the passage of the sandwich down the oesophagus.
