The full details will be on your NHS record and in some places (not here AFAIA) you can actually gain access to them and have a look. If I recall, the last time I looked in my case it was one of the many "Greyed Out" options that had not been enabled by the GP on the website 🙄 Bear here....... Whilst on a recce to the Co-op this afternoon I figured that calling into the Quacks to see if they'd got Bear's chest x-ray results was a good idea (they had - and it's ok); then, whilst diving in the nearby Chemist (not the one that did the jabs - they were useless when I called them earlier) I thought "Turdycurses, should've asked in the Docs" so in a moment of madness decided that a long-shot question to the rather excellent Chemist might just give the answer - and it did - Bear was vaccinated on that day as thought, and now confirmed. Apparently if Bear uses some NHS App thingy then I can access such info myself. Big Tick. As for the vaccine cards - the Chemist described them as "a bit of a gimmick". Sounds about right. Apart from that it's been "more of the same" - I have "Cunning Plan #17" now, which is "progressing" but some aspects of the formations involve what I very much suspect are somewhat advanced 'plottin.....expect naughty words (that'll be worse than usual then). ION...... I've just received an email to tell me that something known as a "37" is inbound 😁 - don't worry, it's green with yellow bits..... RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted November 20, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 20, 2023 Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. Apparently there's still time to get your flu and covid jabs. But they won't be available after 15th of December. For some reason my BP goes sky high when I have a jab, it soon settles back though. Now to look in the fridge to see what tonights dinner is. 4

RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted November 20, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 20, 2023 Evening all from Estuary-Land. I'm trying to find an olive oil sprayer for cooking. I Googled 'olive oil sprayer' and it came up with a list of options. The first three I tried before I could place an order wanted you to sign up and give personal details. All I want to do is buy a kitchen utensil so why is it necessary to give my *hat size? In the end I see that Sainsbury's sell them so I'll pop down there sometime this week. *OK I'm exaggerating, they didn't want my hat size but some of the information they ask is just as irrelevant. They didn't get any information and neither will they get my custom. 2 9

RMweb Premium Popular Post BSW01 Posted November 20, 2023 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted November 20, 2023 (edited) Good evening everyone I’ve had another day in the cellar painting clouds. I’m not quite finished, but another full day should see the bulk of the workshop done, leaving just a few highlights etc to do. I’ve gone round the whole room doing low level streaky grey clouds and highlighted those with a dash of white. I then made a start on the larger clouds and I’m about halfway with those. I’ve also added some shading to the large clouds I painted yesterday, all these need now is a little bit of highlighting followed by a wash of white to tone it all down and they’re done. I’ve included a closeup photo of one cloud that I’ve shaded to give you an idea of what I’m blabbering on about, as well as one before I’d applied the shading. Before After Apart from the blue background which I did using household emulsion paint, I’ve so far I’ve used at least 1 1/2 large tubes of titanium white artist's acrylic paint tubes of acrylic paint. Couldn't you use an airbrush ? 🙂 But seriously, for spraying cooking oils I use those shake-and-spray things from the supermarkets - 'fry light' and similar (and yes, I know the oil is emulsified with water, so not always a great idea). For other stove-top uses I just pour a little oil - if it was for the top of something, I guess tipping the oil into a spoon first would work. Then I thought "why not?" Tried gurgling, got an offer at £1.79 with free shipping. Needed email, phone, and address which doesn't seem an excess of data. Of course it isn't very big, if you need to spray a lot it might be inadequate. But for the black friday price I'll give it a try.

Seriously impressed - what colour did you use for the blue walls, and how did you get the transition down the wall to a lighter shade? Bear's attempts have more of a "cotton wool stuck on the wall" appearance by comparison..... 13

Not a lot got done yesterday apart from getting on with combining two lists of PO wagons. What an exciting life I lead. This morning I am off to be tended to by Veronique who will lower my ears, then the supermarket needs to be raided. After that the day is my own. At the moment. RMweb Premium Popular Post TheQ Posted November 21, 2023 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted November 21, 2023 Mooring Awl Was reading a book last night suddenly it was midnight... 4 hours sleep, 1 hours intermittent sleep. Not enough. Got up with no prompting from Ben the snoring Collie., we then went on patrol, and Ben the much happier Collie, tail in the air , had a good snuffle, for some reason from the North there noises of industrial sized metal hitting metal that upset Ben somewhat, and he needed comforting. But he carried on his normal patrol. Having snaffled some of my bacon butty he's now asleep in his pit. It's grey dull and damp outside. It's obviously been raining, and is now a light northerly wind with some drizzle. When painting backgrounds , I was advised (by SWMBO the artist) to add a little red to the blue, it certainly made a big improvement to the appearance of the Welkin. I may be getting ready for the carpet fitters myself later, that is shifting furniture in the radar history room, also I need to get into the back of one display cabinet to find out why the type 80 radar model has stopped rotating , ( approx 1/50 scale the real thing is 75ft across,) 20 minutes to departure, Time to finish a mugga coffee and get my overalls on. Overalls new insulated ,it's darn chilly in there in the winter.

Or even in the wrong country. A close inspection just below the cat’s a*se will reveal the Dunlop logo. Dunlop, as all itinerant Google-map Gazers should know, is a wee town just north of Kilmarnock. It even sports a railway station which for some years had the curious distinction of just a single morning train into Glasgow which was “pick-up only” and a single return journey in the evening which was “set-down only”. I never did learn the reason for these odd restrictions but these days it enjoys a full service all day which you may use to both board and alight without restriction. Good morning all. Welcome to Cheeseday at the Distant (Signal) West. It is grey, breezy and with intermittent wet bits. As it is bin day the gentlemen engaged in that profession are also getting intermittently wet. The bin truck has just reversed down the road - which is necessary because it cannot turn at the end - and will be back to recycle our unwanted materials in a few minutes. His Furship is watchfully dozing, as cats do, on the sofa and hoping no more comparisons are made between his anatomy and food items. Muggertea the First has been enjoyed. And now it is time to get on with being retired. What ever that means. 18 1

monkeysarefun
Last night I realised that if I set my alarm for 5 minutes earlier I would be able to see the Starlink Satellite train. Weirdest looking thing Ive seen in the sky, I'm assuming UFO reports have spiked over the last few days. I tried to take a picture but all i got was the night sky. But its well worth a look if you are interested, just google Sarlink satellite train schedule" and it'll tell you when its over your area. But then again it'll probably be cloudy anyway!
