There will no doubt continue to be 'news' on the lack of certifications, and not "classing" the vessel (as charter vessels usually are) to avoid multiyear approval processes. It does not have DNV-GL certification from Det Norske Veritas despite a marketing claim that it *would* meet or exceed this certification. Similar CBS News article here. RMweb Gold Popular Post grandadbob Posted June 23, 2023 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted June 23, 2023 (edited) Good morning all, Happy Anniversary to our resident umpire and scorer. At least you should both be able to keep count of the number of years. 😁 Have a great day! Warm start with hazy sunshine at the moment. Plenty of sunshine forecast but it may become cloudy later. 19°C rising to a possible 29°C. We did get some rain yesterday afternoon but not enough. No plans made yet although The Boss keeps banging on about going to a garden centre. I don't think so! Might visit The Shed if it's not too hot. Still thinking about the a portable air con unit but the prices have shot up. Have a good one, Bob. Edited June 23, 2023 by grandadbob 19

Popular Post Grizz
News Update…..Following on from the early morning chook alarm clock….the chooks have just completely and totally ‘lidded out’…..so I rushed outside to find out what the all fuss was about. Found that we had an incident of ‘Ferret Incursion’ at Grizz Castle. A big dog ferret was found by a gate in a remote corner of the castle grounds. Friendly sort of chap but not an ideal playmate for the chooks..as they very quickly and noisily pointed out. He didn’t exactly run away when I approached him but he did seem to be preoccupied, most likely he was on a mission to find a lady ferret. Eventually he disappeared under a bush and out under a fence. No sign of him for a while. We certainly have no ferrets here and no one we know living locally have any ferrets. Might have escaped from a farm about a mile away…or sadly he might have been dumped by some complete and total git. This sometimes happens when people are out illegally poaching or some people just dump animals. Meanwhile the chooks have gone back to scoffing their second corn breakfast, prior to their mid morning pre lunch snack. Not a very clear photo but he was definitely a big ferret and not a long , very skinny badger…😂 4

Wreck site examinations evaluated whether there was environmental contamination from the reactors. In exchange for his work, the U.S. Navy then allowed Ballard, a USNR officer, to use the same submersible to search for RMS Titanic. RMweb Premium BSW01 Posted June 23, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 23, 2023 Good morning everyone A dull and windless start to the day here in the northwest corner of England. The temperature is currently 17C so it’s still warm out there. I shall shortly be setting off for my walk to the butchers to collect the weekly meat rations and a pork pie for my dinner. Then I’m off to the Trafford Centre for a few more items that can’t be bought locally. After that, I’ll put my feet up and read a book. Back later. Another day of warm sunshine and lunch outside in it. I have had a bit a spending spree this week - needs must. First off was a pair of shorts for the hot weather. My regular size ordered - way, way, too big. The next size down has now been ordered. I can return the larger pair to the store when I collect this pair. Next came some bedding, only one of the sets of sheets and pillow cases turns out to be the wrong size. It seems, when I pressed the colour button, it defaulted to size available - in this instance, King size, and I did not notice. Lesson learnt. Thankfully, returnable within 30 days. A set of plates and bowls should arrive in a day or two - only hoping they do not chip/break/other in transit. They are supposed to be well packed and the company seems to have a good reputation for replacing damaged goods. Time will tell. Smaller sized (summer) shorts - given measurements suggested a tight fit - picked up from store and brought home. Tried them on - still too big but they will have to do. Maybe we are expected to tuck in a thick woolly jumper! ...but in summer....? ...baggy shorts, dirty T-shirt...? ...remind you of anything... ? Take care. Be good. Have a funday. And then you think of a certain company's electric cars which can trap occupants in the event of a crash/fire where the electrics fail because it autolocks in the event of an outage, or whose rockets take off leaving a trail of destruction and on minimum safe number of motors. 3

During my perambulations around the city, in search of beautiful gardens and exquisite temples and shrines, I came across yet more evidence of The Bears time in Japan, raking it in as a かわいい (Kawaii) advertising sensation: given that “media and sporting personalities“ can make more money from advertising things than they sometimes make as actors or sports stars, one must conclude that The Bear must’ve been minting it in Japan! We know about the Nikka whiskey gig, the “big, bear boots“ gig, and now the Coca-Cola job, what else will I discover about PB and his commercial adventures during the rest of my stay in Japan? PB often refers to “Micky the MG”, but given the above lucrative activities, how can we tell whether or not PB is being economical with the vérité and actually it is not “Mickey the MG“ but rather “Mickey the Merc“? Just asking for a 友人! 5 1

A stonemartin of La Fouine as it's called did for them. Anyway it's bright and sunny here. I've spent 2 hours clearing debris from the tree stump removal. The last big stump is now a lot lighter as I have removed a lot of rocks and soil from the root ball. Yesterday an excellent day out to Tours was had, lots of Locos were seen and I did not trip up on the bridge of doom. My mate and I met Ian, Olddudders and several pleasant hours were passed. Now it's back down to earth and the ironing awaits as it's too hot outside for heavy manual work,. Music is about to be chosen. Jamie 20

Everything was done in time to sit down and listen to Won't get fooled again. Baz,Happy Anniversary, you've caught us up again, hope the innards settle down.
