It had to be paid into the account and then drawn out again - why as this created a lot more work? The rule was introduced when they discovered that most of these coins came from the yearly clean of the washing machine filter. It is to prevent money laundering. 27

simontaylor484
You're lucky your bank takes change some of the non clearing banks ie the former building societies run a mile if you want to even pay in a lot of coins. I have a jar full of change most of it i picked up whilst at work but our local bank branch closed snd i cant get to Castleford where it all incedently came from to pay it in. Its too heavy for SWMBO to carry to the supermarket to use coinstar 1

It came with its own wall fixture that is fixed to the wall about four feet above the bath. The new shower head will not fit in the fixture, its too wide at the base. Tomorrow I will have to refit the old shower head which at present is soaking in limescale remover. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt..... 1

Popular Post Erichill16
Evening All, After a call to the accountants my VAT account with HMRC was reset and my return submitted. Got a renewal quote for SWMBOs car insurance which it’s due until 2nd February but decided to get my ar$e in gear. (See my last post) Anyway renewal was for just over £400, slightly up on last year so decided to search a comparison website and got a cheapest quote of over £600. Looks our renewal quote is was a good one but I’m thinking that’s not usually the case. So out of curiosity I searched another comparison site and got a quote of just over £200. I double checked all the information I’d imputed but I’d made no mistake. Can’t understand why there was such a difference. After that walked up to mils with some paperwork that SWMBO had printed out for mil to sign. Home, tea and another film, The Commuter. Not bad but the train crash scene wasn’t convincing but otherwise enjoyable enough. I think though if I think too much about it then plot holes would appear. Goodnight, Robert 20

Popular Post Winslow Boy
I am teed off. It has been railing here all day. Yes I know what they say its like that all the time in the northwest but really all day. Got wet this morning walking the dog and I tell you she did not like that. Got wet going shopping and then guess what got wet again walking the dog. I've had enough. The dogs had enough and its still raining. So anybody want some water your welcome to it. And on that note I'm off to bed to dream about deserts. Good night all. 3
RMweb Premium Popular Post BSW01 Posted January 12, 2021 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted January 12, 2021 Good evening everyone I can confirm what Winslow Boy has said in his post above about the rain, it’s also been raining here all day, it wasn’t heavy rain, at times it was only drizzle, but it’s been ceaseless. Anyway, despite the weather, quite a bit of progress has been made in the cellar, I’ve got about 70% of the work done. I’m hoping I’ll get to the stage where I can give the wall a good clean down and then start mixing and applying the tanking solution next week. After tea is completed the Sainsbury’s Grand Prix, there was no shortages of anything so I was able to get all that is required for week ahead. It was nice to see everyone wearing their face masks and properly too! This morning I got a letter today from ‘The Christie’ confirming my PSA results taken just before Christmas is 0.27ug/L. In the same letter it also gave the results of my biopsy which was done in April 2012. Prostate Adenocarcinoma, T3a N1 M0 Gleason 4 + 4 = 8, presenting PSA 90ug/L. It’s quite sobering to see it written down in black and white like that.

RMweb Premium Popular Post TheQ Posted January 12, 2021 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted January 12, 2021 Mooring Awl, inner Temple hare, 4hours plus 2 hours sleep so far.. The nearest bank was closed after 14:00 and Saturdays, but then they reopened for machine use only 14:00-16:00. The annoying thing is there are still staff in there.. So I can't do many banking processes unless I travel to Norwich on a Saturday or take a day off work. My hands have indicated rain shortly, however the weather radar shows it raining heavily just south of here but we are north of the line of rain.. northerly winds forecast apart from being chilly it may keep the rain away. I've now got two high accuracy thermometers and two major systems all needing work, that's not possible this week, one of the thermometers is for a priority customer, so that will be worked on first of those two, and I'm working on one major system because they gave it to me first.. though they are "owned" by separate departments and no doubt the other department will start complaining later on in the week.. The police in Norfolk are also patrolling the coast looking for "furriners" from other areas. Particularly second homers, We certainly had a lot of non local cars going past over the last weekend. Since I'm already awake, I think it might be bacon and egg this morning instead of porridge as I have the time. Time to...cook. 1
