Interestingly, the house and senate REPUBLICANS who have been elected/re-elected, have so far, to a person, not resigned their position given the massive fraud that's supposed to have occurred - seems that if the head TURD was fraudulently voted AGAINST, surely ALL the down-ballot TURDS are also subject to, and therefore fraudulently elected, right?!?! Weather has, as predicted, taken a turn for the "winter". Can't saw "worse" here as it's actually the normal... -7 first thing retrieving the newspaper, but sunny at least. High expected to make a whopping +1. About 3-4 inches of wet snow overnight. Carry on. Without seeing all the figures, one can't be sure. RMweb Premium Popular Post New Haven Neil Posted November 11, 2020 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted November 11, 2020 (edited) Evening. A friend wishes to register a complaint about Tony's choice of pizza..... Himself at Donkhenge. In other news, it forgot to get light today. Miserable day, rain showers, heavy overcast++, just not nice. Mrs NHN HAD to get some new boots to feel better.....you know how it is. The bore did turn up for lunch, he wasn't too bad today, but his tales of superb skills in target archery (he does that in winter - Debs still only does field archery, regardless of time of year, she finds target too boring and repetitive) were tempered when he said it was shot at 8m. Yes, eight. The field course goes up to 40. Ho hum. Edited November 11, 2020 by New Haven Neil Missing n

It is reduced several times before it reaches the house, but electricity failures will not effect gas pressure at all! The worst scenario, would mean its ackward for the engineer doing repairs on a site without electricity, as they'd probably be in working the dark, literally! tigerburnie
Evening, I used to build Gas Turbines for pumping and power supply back in the day, they ran on gas, but needed a lot of electrickery to keep 'em, running. 4 1 7

RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted November 11, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 11, 2020 Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. They had bread pudding in Tess Coes today, result! There was about a dozen on the shelf when I snaffled mine, half an hour later the shelf was empty. Spent a bit of too much time on eyelid inspection this afternoon so a few things to catch up on, be back later.
simontaylor484
Evening all Been off it all day Dr gave me something for my back and it has reacted with other meds and sleep all day. When we did have gas hob it wouldn't work if no electricity. You couldnt even turn gas on and light with match. I do remember back in 1986 1987 ish our neighbour having water coming out of gas hobs. This was due to mining subsidence there was a lot of damage caused to gas and water mains and properties some areas suffered damage on expansion and compression phases. The way i was shown it worked involved a sponge cake with cream filling (calm down bear and hippo) and gradual removal of the cream filling mimics subsidence. Some more useless information for you 12 2

Apparently "somewhat" true, however popular opinion (nothing more available) is that most folks bother with the front side, where presidential and higher federal and state positions are shown, but seldom flip it over for the more local positions are found. Some local judges, found on said "other side" don't get many votes at all!
Popular Post Erichill16
Evening All, One thing with our electric dishwasher is that it almost never gets used. There is only two of us and we tend to keep using the same cups and plates all day so we never have enough ‘stuff’ to fill it up. If we did wait until it was full, thing would become dried on. It only gets used at C............S when we have the family around. The manual dishwasher is also more economic Regarding X...s I saw house decoreded for the festive season last night when I took Sydney for a walk and today I’ve seen another. Arrrrrrrrrrrg. I did hear on the radio someone suggesting trimming up early was good at keeping black dog away. I think I’ll leave it a bit longer. SWMBO and myself took Sydney and mil for a walk and pick nick this morning and in the afternoon I did some paperwork. Rather tedious as I realised I’d made a mistake and had to spend most of the time rectifying this error but it’s sorted now. Just watched a dvd featuring kettles on wheels. After recent good news regarding a vaccine the chancellor is now considering ways of paying for the virus episode. As predictable as night follows day. It seems a few of us are being to feel the pressure of the lock down so it’s time to focus on the positives. Not sure what’s planned for tomorrow, but MRC committee are having a Zoom meeting. Having second dose of cider so I’ll quit before I start rambling. Goodnight and think positive, Robert 19 1

RMweb Gold Tony_S Posted November 11, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 11, 2020 (edited) Like Polly we have sometimes more than one dishwasher run but our “normal” run is overnight. We have the Economy 7 electric tariff. The dishwasher is very quiet and doesn’t disturb us. It had its own timer so no messing around with external timer devices. RMweb Gold PeterBB Posted November 11, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 11, 2020 (edited) Dishwashers - they are in fact better than the hand-washing hygienically because in drying the temperature goes up to 80oC -don't know how to get the 'o' up to the top. We are on Economy 7 with a good dishwasher with timer like Tony and only do a second run if we have guests so no second runs so far this year! Strange how 'gas' has gone from domestic pressure to wellhead pressure demonstrating the breadth of expertise in ER. Took the two minutes silence today - did lose an uncle in WW2 but all older known uncles survived WW1. Popular Post simontaylor484
I missed the silence this morning due to reasons outlined earlier, the first time in many years. I have in previous years stopped the van and got out and " listened to the silence on Radio 2 or when I was based in Castleford town centre i used to go to the Cenotaph there. WE also used to see c#######s decorations appear in houses on our round at this sort of fime . I couldn't do with looking at them if I had my way they would go up on the 24th and come down on the 26th(December of course). I hate the twixtmas period especially i find it boring and would try to work as much of it as possible. I haven't really enjoyed the main event for many years although I love to see the kids happy. It was the years between 19- 22 when I was single and all my mates had girlfriends i found it really depressing and I do feel sorry for those amongst us that are alone at that time of year. We prefer to stay at home on the 25th and 26th we both hated being dragged round relatives so we keep ourselves to ourselves and please ourselves. I used to go into town Boxing day but that used to turn into the wild West and all the fun went with it. 9 1

RMweb Premium Popular Post BSW01 Posted November 11, 2020 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted November 11, 2020 Good evening everyone Like yesterday, the weather was kind to me and I was able to get the front pressure washed this morning. I’d just finished packing up before 11 o’clock, so I didn’t need to stop working to observe the 2 minutes silence. That done, I returned to the back and once again cleaned doff before it was all packed away in the shed. I then changed before sitting on the bench to have my mid morning muggertea. Once that was finished, I continued working on the turntable, the well was given a coat of UV protective Matt varnish to stop the ink fading on the printed brick paper and to seal all the weathering. I then added a little bit more weathering on the bridge and that too is now complete. At this point I packed up and came in early as Sheila wanted me to bake a cake! After my mid afternoon muggertea I made a ‘Salted Caramel Upside Down Apple and Ginger Cake’. Sheila found the recipe on line and I printed off a copy this morning. It was a relatively easy cake to make, all of the ingredients, apart from fresh ginger (which I picked up on Monday) , I had in store so it was just a question of putting it all together. As there are just 2 of us, I only used half the amounts listed, but it made quite a big cake, e had some tonight after tea and the remainder will last us another 2 meals. Goodnight all 19

Yes but that leaves us open to prosecution for interfering with the legally required circuitry. Even if it 'interrupts' the mains supply it remains a problem unless you totally isolate the solar panels from the mains supply and if you do that you then lose the FIT (Feed In Tariff). And the FIT is more than enough to have returned us a very considerable, non-taxable, profit over the years we have had the panels because it is much, much, more than the interest we would have got from the bank on the money we used to pay for the panels. 4 1
