To defend them from the possible suspicion that his parents were endangering our grandson, I have to confess my confusion about the ages of my grandchildren (shame!). The grandson whose birthday was at the weekend was turning three, not two. My excuse is that another grandson turns two next week, and I had been buying a present for him online immediately before typing that post. (A large Tonka dump truck, since you ask - no small parts.) 15
RMweb Premium Popular Post newbryford Posted March 9, 2020 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 9, 2020 My brother is not at all well is an understatement. We had a phone call yesterday from SiL that was not at all positive and went to visit him and his family at the CCU. Due to various complications - double pneumothorax, pulmonary embolisms and pneumonia on top of his initial trauma, he cannot absorb oxygen efficiently - even with a 100% supply - so he has been moved to the specialist heart and lung unit at Wythenshawe today. They are trying a few different things with the possibility that he is being considered for ECMO treatment if there is no improvement. We (family NB) feel pretty helpless as there is very little we can do directly, except support his wife and son through this and hope for his recovery Keep fighting big brother.

The cab driver saw it once he was parked in the queue and just sorting out/cleaning his cab. my mobile (cell phone) is also normally on vibrate but does ctch me out when for some unkown reason is on full volume just when i am in a 'no mobiile' or quiet zone area 3 1

However, when sorting for two moves ago, I discovered that there were some issues missing. I'd thoroughly gone through the collection and removed (from the staple-bound issues) all the adverts to reduce the space required and organised loft storage for them but after my last move, I've been through some of them and thought "what's the point?" So far, I have consigned about 20% to the recycle facility; I do try and keep anything of my own doing, however! I have now whittled some ten subscriptions into just two, TR:E and TR:UK. If I 'need' any others, I'll purchase them next time I'm in the relevant country!

RMweb Premium Popular Post BSW01 Posted March 9, 2020 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted March 9, 2020 Good evening everyone I’ve made some more progress on the inner cellar door today, but unfortunately I didn’t manage to finish it, there’s still about 25% left to do. As we’d been forecast rain for the afternoon, as a precaution, when I knocked off for dinner, I decided to pack everything away as the skies were starting to look decidedly dark. That turned out to have been a wise move, as it started to rain whilst I was eating my dinner. So after dinner I stayed inside and tidied up a bit in the main cellar room. Once that was done I came upstairs and spent an hour or so at the dining room table with the soldering iron and completed a few more MERG kits. Mick. I hope your brother improves soon, thoughts with you and your family. Wythenshawe Hospital is a very good one, both my youngest son and myself have had treatment there. Goodnight all 18 1

I couldn't find any but the German ones. Searching for 0-6-0 tank locomotives found more British examples than anything, even when specifying German or Danish. Perhaps I needed to search using Danish words to get the right answers. Like any search on the 'net it all depends on what you ask for. i just did a goggle inquiry and finished up with loads of pictures of Danish locos of all types and sizes. I was a bit selective in my search question and I actually got what I asked for plus some wider links. So try this - DSB 0-6-0 steam locos And Mick sorry to hear about your brother but at least it sounds as if the Medics are doing their best for him - fingers crossed. RMweb Premium J. S. Bach Posted March 10, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 10, 2020 Hmm, I bought a six of Guinness Stout (first time ever) at the local Bi-Lo (it waas on sale for $9.00), after one bottle I think that I just wasted nine dollars. Absolutely no taste (to me, at least), my well water is better. Oh well, I will probably finish the pack but it will take quite a while. On a more cheerful note; good night owl from the Piedmont. 1 2
