Morning All,

A belated Happy Birthday Dave - the virtual cream cake was delicious. Hmmm!

There are some pretty clear skies here too. We had a lovely sunrise this morning.

TGIF!

Have a good day everyone...

Morning all!

Belated happy birthday to you Dave biggrin.gif

Well today I'll be setting up down the village hall. The layout still isn't finished though! But it's not far off - the main thing to complete is the hangar. Trackwork works fine and the scenics are pretty much finished...

Sorry to Dominik - I know I still haven't replied to your PM, it's been fair to say I have been rather busy lately! unsure.gif

Mwning ewl, Bit cloowdy ere. Sorry talking with my mouth full of virtual cream cake. Belated Happys Dave.

For some reason my suggestion that I go and play golf this morning with the lads didn't go down well with the staff who is as we speak warming up the TV.

Just have to hope the world returns to normal in an hour or two so I can escape to the shed.

Have a good one all.

Cheers

Dave

An opposite view - I've missed the hats, frocks and shoes bit but am now watching the wedding (never intended to). If there is one thing this country does well it's a big occasion like this. Good luck to them both, it's a brilliant spectacle.

Probably a sudden boost for our disfunctional ruling family.

At least they look more normal than some of the others.

Make a nice, likeable couple.

I thought her sisters were trim, too.

Good luck to them.

I have to say lads, I've just watched the wedding from beginning to end and found the whole show a wonderful spectacle that only the Brits could do. Catherine looked stunning and the whole ceremony was just perfect. Made me yearn for a world where everyone enbraced some of the principles spoken about in the address. All in all it was perfectly planned and everything went without a hitch. Truly, a wonderful day....

Totally agree Gordon - I was cynical as anything to start with but as it all unfolded I found myself captivated by it.

I was impressed by the way the RAF said they would flypast at 1:30 and they flew past at ........... 1:30:00.

Just a shame that post the defence review that was the whole RAF....

Can't imagine why Harry looked so chuffed escorting a bridesmaid! Yummy yummy.

At least this country is still able to put on a spectacle of pomp and ceremony. Do we have to give the jets back to the French now and rely on the Battle of Britain memorial flight for our air defences?

Cheers

Dave

Unfortunately Endeavour's launch has been postponed by at least 72 hours.

Have seen little bits of the wedding as I've been outside putting up fencing. Catherine did look very pretty. Not sure why they're Duke and Duchess of Cambridge... King and Queen of the Kingdom of Fife would have been more appropriate!

Good morning all....

......and what a beautiful morning it is. Went for a (short) walk along the seafront earlier and stood and just watched the sun rise over the sea. A sight that never fails to amaze me no matter how many times I see it.

Probably the last time I will do that this year. The sun is starting to get up too early for my liking.
