Guys, you need to hold down the alt key whilst typing the numbers from the numeric keypad on the RHS of the keyboard. Uh huh, but your I-tablet thingummybobs don't have a numeric keypad. On a PC I like to use the Character Map application rather than remember Unicode HEX values for characters. On tablets / smart 'phones, if you hold the letter key down, a little menu will pop up with variations on the letter. RMweb Premium Popular Post jamie92208 Posted November 16, 2019 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted November 16, 2019 (edited) Evening all. It is still wet here and more wood will be fetched shortly. Good news today, Beth is definitely getting better. How do I know this. Simples, I got a grade 1 rollocking for having the temerity to ask a nurse a question. Those of you on the back row stop sniggerring. I was not asking the nurse for anything improper, only when Beth was going to gave her pot removed. Apparently this will happen on Monday. Dinner has been eaten and Joan has packed for a departure tomorrow. I will drop her in La Rochelle then might just find time to explore the U boat pens and various railway installations before heading off to see Beth. Lunch on the station is a probability. I'm glad that Poppy has turned up. When Gavin was young I was changing the duvet and when shaking it thought that the weight distribution had altered. He had only got right inside the cover and been shaken up and down. He was none the worse for his travels. Regards to all. RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted November 16, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 16, 2019 (edited) Evening all from Estuary-Land. Not a bad little show at Thundersley today, though being local most if not all of the layouts were familiar to me. After we left the show I went to check out the £10 layout. Locomotives were stalling in a couple of places and these I checked. I found that electrickery was flowing as it should do on all lines so a close examination of the 'dead spots' revealed a few bumps in the ballast. These are going to be reduced over the next few days and hopefully will solve the problem. The layout I understand is about 40-45 years old, four times the age of its new owner. He now has a second locomotive to run on the layout and hopefully it will be ready in time for the SEERS On Show exhibition on 8th Feb 2020. The layout still hasn't got a name yet, any suggestions? Had I realised the wait would be a few days, I'd have put the covers back on to keep it tidy. Reading these pages, I am amazed at the number of handymen on RMW who take things apart and fix them. The few things I have tried to fix were disasters so we always call the repairman now. Due to that cost, it is usually easier to just go out an buy a new one as by that time its probably getting old. Now you have an updated, modern item with a guarantee. The same with TV's especially as they seem to come out with something new fairly frequently. 12

RMweb Premium Popular Post TheQ Posted November 16, 2019 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted November 16, 2019 (edited) Evening Aüül, ööh it döës wörk The wedding went well, every one happy, disco "****" loud, so we and others retired to another room where it was still loud but bearable. I have a inherited model railway built on the isle of Tiree , The model railway has a station on it called Scarinish. Off the west coast of Scotland is a small group of Islands called the inner Hebrides Of which One is called, the isle of Tiree On which, is a village called Scarinish The village of Scarinish is the biggest on the island It comprises 30-ish houses. The village is missing a resident.. I know where she was., At the same wedding reception as me.... That's one hëck of a coincidence.
