Thoughts are with the rest of ER in Ireland today with Tony, Aditi and family,. Meanwhile from somewhat further west this missive came through, " is a new initiative designed to develop and nurture your great ideas and support the development of disruptive innovation across our organization!" Yes, more disruption is really what we need. Even with the heavy rain we had, I noticed our road is still a brown colour.... A digger was out and a road narrowed on the NDR yesterday, as a digger attempted to put soil back where it came from during the rain. Our garden is still squelchy but the puddles have drained away, Avanti the gas people, phoned up to check I had read the dial correctly, I Had. Was Informed someone from the local depot, should phone up today to say when they might get round to filling the tank. Hopefully I should finish a major system today, then there are a lot of Current shunts to do, one is cooking at the moment, it takes 20 minutes to reach measurement time. Lincoln in chaos this morning as the A46/A15 Riseholme intersection is closed because of a vehicle ‘hitting the roundabout’ at 06.35 hours. I havent been able to individually respond to posts today. I am just having a quiet moment by myself before rejoining the relatives who arrived this morning. Quiet as in by myself, as I think the hotel bottle bank outside our room is being refilled. I am ok but I don't feel like lunch. The funeral car collects us after 2pm. The funeral is at 3. The university chaplain will lead the proceedings. He offered to yesterday and his memorial to Matthew was so lovely we quickly accepted. Jennifer from geography admin will sing a traditional funeral lament as shen did yesterday. Thank you all again. Tony.
