I love the way they have put brand new double glazing units in the box, which look great, but have done bugg*r all about the woodwork. Talk about contrasts.

Some lovely photographs in this thread.

 

Here's my contribution, a telephoto shot I took a couple of years ago, of no less than four TGV-A sets on the approach lines to Paris Montparnasse.

 

I'll concede it has little photographic merit, I find it's more of an interesting shot of operations from an unusual vantage point.

I don't know - quite like it. Maybe there's scope for some drastic cropping to emphasise the flowing lines and the way the further set kinks level with the curve on the right.

Something like this or even closer? Hope you don't mind:

I can see photographic merit :) and it's an interesting shot, too. 

 

If you could take a bit of the blueness out, I think it might look even better - but then I'm a bit of a Photoshop junkie
