cornish trains jez
Agree! I love this layout, hopefully a news update is forthcoming! Best regards, Jeremy
RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted July 26 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 26 Sadly the last news bulletin was more than 4 years ago, and much of the supporting material has perished in the ghastly RMweb server-swindle of a few years back, while the YouTube channel has been closed, which is ominous. I share others' wish for updates, but fear that that is that. 4 4

There will never be a beginning or an end For me the loop is still playing! For those who are interested, Mark's exploits from 2008-2016 remain documented on New Railway Modellers. The interesting views being to emerge on page 25, and on page 32 we get one of the interesting narratives that catapulted Frankland to fame on an earlier rendition of RMweb: https://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic.php?t=17719&start=465 Edited July 28 by Mikkel 5
Popular Post Southernboy
Gentlemen, Many thanks for asking about Frankland. I’m afraid that since my last post, a series of unfortunate circumstances have contrived to keep plans on hold. It is frustrating to say the least. I do miss my railway modelling. Rest assured that all the essential elements of Frankland remain safely packed away, in a dedicated room, awaiting resurrection. When the time comes I’m sure there’ll be a special newsreel or radio broadcast heralding the fact :) I hope this thread doesn’t get deleted as it would be nice at some point to pick up where we left off. BTW: 95% of pictures are still here - it’s only the last page or so where a few have disappeared, and I’m happy to say Frankland videos are still displaying too. (also on Youtube, search ‘Frankland Railway’). The only missing videos were links to third-parties. All the best, and thanks again for checking on Frankland - very much appreciated. Mark PS: I do visit RMWeb regularly and continue to enjoy following many inspiring layouts and threads here.
