sixteen 12by 10s
Thanks for all who exhibited and attended our show, it was a success again, I would also like to thanks all of my fellow members for all their hard work in making it possible. With my critical head on, the show was above average in quality and organization, the numbers through the door were average, hit in some ways by the Warley show, we had the date booked first, and had to switch our advertising campaign from enthusiast to public, saying that, we deserve better attendance for the effort we put in. I appreciate everyone who has contributed, thanks Gary Hinson CHMRC exhibition manager (for now) and Chair 2

RMweb Premium TimC Posted October 14 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 14 Thanks guys for your kind words. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the show on Saturday and really appreciated the help from the club members helping to move our stuff in and out of the hall. I didn't get much time to look around or take many photos. Though I did enjoy the duck trail! I helped out a friend with his layout 'Tony's Forest' at the Farnham and District Show on Sunday and I understand he's maybe on the list for Cradley Heath in 2025, so I'll hopefully I'll make next years show too. Thanks again!
sixteen 12by 10s
that Duck got everywhere, must have been down to our awesome logistics team from Grainge & Hodder (for all your baseboard and etching needs), quackers even made it to the pub after 2
F-UnitMad
Re the duck trail - it's a way to get younger kids involved. Every layout is given a duck, the kids have to find them all. That way they - & their parents - look at every single layout. 😁👍👍 Oh that some of the childless adults would do the same.... 🙄🙄🙄 5
Western Star Posted Thursday at 11:19 Share Posted Thursday at 11:19 And what happens to the ducks after the show? Are the show ducks those that appear regularly in a water trough a little way south of Tan-y-Bwlch?

The Junior Member who gave them out, collects them back afterwards. Which member then takes them down the Pub later is open to speculation....
