Yes its the latest version you listed yesterday

Will be interesting to see what it looks like with some paint

I used some glue supplied with the machine. stuck well

The noise is not too bad but sometimes my machine squeaks a bit only when the head accelerates quickly, machine not program ?

Filing jig working well, but I think would have to be printed one half at a time on the angle to fit the Kingroon, needs a clamp as an end stop.

As expected in 7mm scale there is a lot more filing than 4mm, but it was far more easier than any other system I have used in the past and probably far better

How about slowing down a bit I can't keep up  😄

Hi John,

Well done - looking good. 🙂

I don't understand about the clamp end stop? The tip of the blade should be 20mm from the end of the jig. Mark that position on the blade before removing it from the back filing jig, and position it 20mm again from the end in the front filing jig.

The instructions for using the jigs are at: https://85a.uk/templot/club/index.php?threads/728

cheers,

Martin.

I remembered about 4mm needing a gap. I can trim it back by 10mm

My 10" file moves the rail forward despite how tight the nuts are, a simple fix to stop rail creep, perhaps the gap is a tad too deep.

I will use your new settings on the next one

One of my new SD cards is not working, it was a freebie with the printer, thankfully there were 2 supplied, plus as a stopgap I have other cards with my other machines (strange as the computer reads both, but not the Neptune.

Saying I am very pleased is an understatement

The switch section, yesterday was a pain, some how the printer does not like the USB and SD cards which came with the machine and now the sandisk USB has to be repaired each time its used in the printer. I have emailed Elegoo and awaiting a reply

Hi John, is this a pricing mistake on the C&L website?

Not surprising, I will have a word with Phil at the weekend (if I get the time) as I am on the Templot display stand
