gpplumy
For years I've wanted a decent 04 tram for the plan of a "what if" wisbech layout. Niu had produced skirts for the old Bachmann 04 locos but I've never once had a good runner , probably due to the split chassis. After some discussion with niu , I got a image sent of a cad design of the 04. A bit more back and forth and it was done. They have created a few body types and they are available with or without hand rails. (I personally prefer brass knobs and wire. These are avaliable now on the niu models website and I have completed (almost, need transferes ) my model. They fit well and are well worth getting. With a bit of fiddling you can even fit the cab light ! So check out https://niumodels.co.uk/ they have some brilliant kits and add ons available! GMKAT7
Good evening gpplumy, The 04 looks really good, impressed with the model as you have finished it. How was the resin to work with e.g. for drilling the handrail holes etc? Very interested in the kit but I have suffered brittle resin kits in the past, so a little cautious about going ahead. Cheers, Nigel. Edited June 13 by GMKAT7 Speelink correktion

Cheers, Nigel. Personally I found It fairly easy. Of course you have to be careful. I hand drilled out each hole for the handrails which went fine. I have broken off the horn although kt was very small. I intend to replace it with a brass one from A1 models. But over all very happy with the kit.
