The only Ads I'm seeing are Rapido, World of Railways, and Perfect Fathers Day Gifts, and Dream Steam Model Railways.

I view RMweb on my work laptop with Edge, the home PC on Firefox and my iPhone on Safari and have never had any popup issues. However, over the weekend, RMweb has several times automatically jumped to this on both Edge and Firefox:

Got the above again, just a few seconds ago. Seems to happen around the same time too. Bizarre.

OK. Keep an eye on it. Hopefully this is just your machine. (Crosses fingers as Andy is on holiday)

Good god man, you don't tell us that.

Now we're all worried.

You should be. He's watching you all even more. Not just when you are on RMweb...

That's what they SAY they are doing - there will actually be a secret party, organised by the PM and denied, naturally!

I had similar issues with a website keeping sending me notices pretending to be from other companies. I found out I could stop them by(I think) going into my browser settings and blocking them

Perhaps someone more knowledgeable could correct/enlarge on the subject

Hi Andy et al.

Things seem to working OK now, thank you for sorting things out.

I think the long term answer is to pay for a propper memebrship when I'm next paid, that way RMweb will be an oasis on the web free of adverts to just enjoy for itself.

Many thanks.

Jamie

I had the same blocked redirect almost exactly an hour after I posted my last message on the 18th, but since then I've had no issues.

As we haven't had any other reports Matt I would suggest giving your system a dose of laxatives. Or at least clear any RMweb cookies and all browsing history, run Malwarebytes or similar and login afresh.

The issue seems to have reappeared. Both Firefox and Edge. Malwarebytes stopping it. Will try clearing cookies to see if it's just my machine.

I've experienced the issue that has been mentioned a few times, specifics:

Date / time : 2nd July 24 21:23

Page : Forum jokes (Wheeltappers) page 1026 or 1027 (same thing happened when on this page too, writing this post)

Computer : Windows 10 / Chrome (latest version)

Screenshot (apologies for the dual monitor screen grab!)

Edited to add that Adguard is disabled for RMWeb itself

I get the robot screen up quite a lot - it links to a site called asow.co.in which has only very recently been set up ignore the xxx at the front and end - I couldn't work out how to paste the link otherwise without making it a hyperlink
