Rgb
Very much looking forward to the show. Will cards be accepted on the door and for refreshments, or is it cash only?
RMweb Gold Not Jeremy Posted July 12 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 12 Cash only for both door and refreshments. Money machines do exist in the village. 1
RMweb Gold Not Jeremy Posted July 12 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 12 Well, you'd think that gone nine of the clock would be time for dinner, the pub, or even sleeping. Oh no..... "Cleanliness is next to Godliness", quoth Kernow, "fifteen minutes" quoth another. Serious business this new fangled Scalefour trickery and trackery! And they've been here since tiffin! Wake me up when I can lock up, somebody..... And also, it is very nice to see you again Tim! 7 1 1
RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted July 12 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 12 I see the chaps have at least had the aforethought to bring a supper hamper along. Rob 2 2

I cant decide whether I am more impressed that they are moving so fast that they are just a blur - or that they seem to have brought a picnic hamper!

Paul, nothing would surprise me, some arrangements of comestibles were seen at some point in the proceedings. They have certainly occupied the space allotted in a charming and unique way. CK couldn't resist deviating from the plan somewhat, but luckily extreme foresight on behalf of the organisers, coupled with their superbly flexible approach to the slightly cantankerous tendencies of the sorts of eccentric characters one can find in situations like this, has resulted in it all being mostly OK. Any crushing issues in that back room, well you know who talk to..... 2 1

I failed to place the order with the Memsahib ( who produces excellent scratch built ones ) in time and RTR examples just don't cut the mustard.

Rgb
What a wonderful day! Strolled in the sunshine to get the free minibus to the show, enjoyed fab refreshments, fantastic and diverse layouts and chats with so many friendly folk, and then grabbed a couple of bargains from the bookshop on the way home. Well done and thank you, Simon, Jerry and the wider team! Already looking forward to next year's show. A few snaps below. Alas, my cheese salad sandwich and fruit cake were devoured too quickly for me to get a photo. Edited July 13 by Rgb 18
