Accurascale were excellent after my message, they sent me an 8 ohm version of the Em1 (Accurathrash) speaker so now my 37001 and 55001 are both within the 4 ohm limits for the ESU v5...

Thanks Accurascale, looking forward to my 31 and 50 now.

regards

Doug

The Legomanbiffo has been designed to accept the current 4Ohms+ 8Ohm speaker set up, without changing anything.  Saves messing about, + its far louder.

I tried swapping the speaker on one of my Accurascale 37s, which has Bif's sounds on it. I tried one of the new ESU passive radiator speakers which work very well with Accurascale's own sound profile, but it didn't sound as good on the legomanbiffo loco. Swapped the Accurathrash speaker back in and tweaked the bass and treble instead, and it sounds much better.

As Charlie said, Bif's sound file seems to be set up very well for the original speaker set up.

I'm adding my Class 37 to JMRI Drcoder Pro and I'm presented with a lot of ESU LokSound options.

Can anyone advise me which I should choose (or does it make any difference)?

JMRI is offering LokSound

5

5 DCC

5 L

5 L DCC

5 XL

5 Fx

5 Fx DCC

5 MKL

(I've omitted the micro, nano etc)

It's usually LokSound 5 DCC - all of mine have been.
