First of all , I hoped that that you would all be looking at the loco, and not notice the background. I soon decided that wouldn't happen. Then I considered coming clean, and pleading with you to take no notice, but that would just have drawn more attention to it. So, make the best of it, and try to extract a little humour from it. It was a flying hand that hit the box, of course, and the little lad's black tac stopped working. The view finder isn't very big though, so at the time these things can get missed.
RMweb Premium Popular Post great northern Posted Monday at 08:09 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted Monday at 08:09 Walter K Wigham has 13 on, and so is well off the platform. I decided that a ten minute stop would surely involve an engine change, so local A2/3 Sun Castle is waiting to come across from the engine road when an opportunity arises. Move around a bit,and the whole of 60523 is in shot. and it looks rather nice, don't you think? 23
RMweb Premium Popular Post great northern Posted Monday at 17:33 Author RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted Monday at 17:33 (edited) Back to the north end, but this time I was able to do some cropping of the dodgy bits. First Up, we have another advancing A3, and a numerical coincidence. 60111 has an Up Saltburn, which it will have taken over at its home, Grantham. You also get the A4, and the tender of the A2/3. and another shot with bits of all three locos Edited Monday at 17:34 by great northern capital

RMweb Premium great northern Posted 10 hours ago Author RMweb Premium Share Posted 10 hours ago The weather has reverted to its old ways, never any sun when it is of use for photography, so back to one image for now. Here is 60111 snaking round the curve, and about to come under the bridge.
