More Station Road, again looking down, so that you can see some of what is going on behind the garden walls.

Three was one too many to shop.

 

Here's one looking t'other way for a bit of variety. You'd think the guy could clear up the bits after he trimmed his hedge, wouldn't you?

Another very recently ex works V2, and as it is Doncaster based it too is unlikely to be this clean for long. It has a KX Goods-Leeds Class D.

60881 is signalled into Westwood Yard, where vans will be detached and others added before conrtinuing its journey.

Something needs to be done about the expanse of nothing under the bridge.

A few more images of our latest progress.

 

More to show fences than anything else. I decreed that one resident decided to replace the railings which went to become ammunition in one of the world wars, just because I had some good Scale Link stuff left, and it looks very nice.

This one just makes a nice picture.

and we need one looking down from the bridge as well.

I now need to say how subtle and clever the colouring is too; beautifully observed by Mr Gravy Train. It is smaller details such as this and the careful addition of the greenery, walling and Fences etc. that make this so realistic.

Aspirational stuff.

Gilbert, why do you persist in posting up photos of the real thing as shown here abovve. Don't you have any pictures of your model? Yours wonderingly...

A rather frustrating aspect of my life has always been that I'm quite good at visualising things, but not very capable of putting them into practice. Mind you, I'd say there are very few people who could do so to the standard that Peter achieves. Fortunately we have now reached the stage where those pesky little millimetres aren't so important any more, so I can enjoy myself playing around with some small detailing projects. Plenty more scope for me to do that around Station Road, which really has, thanks to Peter, done everything that I hoped it might.

It was then the turn of the B17 to take its presumably now empty vans out of the way, and so off it went. Six lattices so soon after the last session was more than I could contemplate, so some cropping occurred.

Last two Station Road views for now, both from a higher viewpoint.

The Colchester- Glasgow now appears, B2 Framlingham at the head.

A couple of minutes later it is stationary, with the A3 waiting alongside.

Station Road is looking great, Gilbert - even better with the N5 in front!

 

Lovely work from Mr G Train, and it really has enhanced the layout to a great degree.
