Victory now has the correct cab. Production samples are here with me, they will be going to GETS at the weekend then will be photographed shortly after.

Hope this helps

Thank you for the response!

But which cab? By right you mean the "slotted" window type that was on multiple of the previous batch? (Like on this one: https://www.hattons.co.uk/312304/hattons_originals_andrew_barclay_0_4_0st_14_2134_coronation_in_lined_green/stockdetaill. Which I did reference on the previous page.)

Are these now in the warehouse ready to be shipped ?

I asked as I have been invoiced for only one of those I have on order.

Plan is to commence dispatch of paid preorders once we are clear of 31s and Mk1s. (Maybe another week / 10 days)

Fab. I have more than one on order so would like to pay together so they are shipped together but have only been invoiced for one order at present

But be warned, the Accurascale packers are ruddy good at their job! They got 14 Mk1 Subs and a Class 31 in one box. No matter how I try, I can’t get them all back in!

So, are they at the warehouse, or still on a ship?

If a ship, I think we should be given the name so we can track it. That ALWAYS goes well on rmweb :)

If at the warehouse already, well, just going to have to wait aren't we :) I won't get mine until late November anyway, when my partner brings mine to me. She'll think I'm hopping around excited to see her, not the contents of her suitcase... :D

Share the vessel they're on, you know you want to ;)

Updates to Victory look good.

But why? It won’t get them to your layout any faster.

AS aren’t going to share anything that could put the shipment of the models at risk.

Yes, the vessel bringing them would be in greater danger of being attacked if the Houthi rebels knew she was carrying toy trains.

I won't get mine until December anyway. I just crave the slightest excitement in my life, and knowing my preorders are winging their way will scratch that itch.

I didn’t mean a terrorist group attacking a bloody ship for toy trains 🙄

It was only a few years ago I witnessed a large amount of Hornby products that had clearly ‘fell off the back of a lorry’ being offered very cheap on a local market stall, that’s the sort of security risk I was referring to.

But well done, point taken 👏

What? You mean you want us to give the armchair experts an opportunity to suddenly realise they are experts in shipping and freight forwarding as well, and the opportunity of educating everyone on why the Captain of MV Whatever isn't up to the job because he could have shaved 10 minutes off the transit time between the Cape and the Suez?

I think we'll save the internet that pain 🤣

Best wishes,

Paul.
