Hi all,

I have just come across this company who make card building kits. They also have some free template kits for us to download. I think it should be well worth a look.

I find these sorts of card models very useful for filling in background gaps or in darker corners, but getting stuff that looks as if it was once to be found in a South Wales mining village, where there was a fairly particular style of vernacular stone-faced or rendered brick-built architecture, is not easy for houses or shops, and vital for that 'Valleys' look.  Small industrial, churches, garages, cinema/theatres, even pubs, are much easier.

 

For foreground buidings I prefer plastic or lasercut scratchaid kits.

I've built several of these kits over the last few years and have been very pleased with the results.
