Over Ribblehead Viaduct I didnt know that Amtrak drivers signed the S&C or that they had any UK Loading Gauge stock. As we get closer to the festive season, Ch5, which "The Christmas Express" is currently on, will have their entire daytime output flooded with such masterpieces! As for writing the films, just look at how many books those Mills & Boon style writers used to churn out. Thousands of them, no need for AI. There was a certainly a shot of a class 91 on Mk4 stock on there, though the actual US train offerings for some of the views appeared to be ex-BC Rail RDC's which may or may not have had a loco at the front end, though some of the shots looked like models rather than the real thing - and that certainly had what looked like an F unit on the point!. But Christmas films are as predictable as this year's F1 season. The scenario is young executive is sent to a failing hotel/shop/family business to take over or shut it down. Young executive meets a single parent/widow/family who own said business and fall for them. Working against a Christmas Eve deadline to shut down the business as blizzard blows in preventing them leaving and concluding the deal. Come Christmas day they tell said business owner they love them and quit their own job thus saving the business. Cookies are usually baked at some point and the tree decorated to the mellow sound track of oboes.
