WIMorrison Posted March 24, 2023 Share Posted March 24, 2023 I have seen lots of discussions about this, normally initiated by some from the USA, wondering why it isn’t being adopted in Europe. The last questions about it indicated that it wasn’t really being used in the USA either. it may be a clever idea, especially for large layouts, but I cannot see any compelling reasons for adoption - especially if it means changing what is currently in use. The UK can’t even get people to adopt DCC because they don’t see benefits, what is the chance of anyone adopting a new ‘standard’? 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Their LCC items are more expensive than the equivalent SSB items, so although they are probably marginally easier to wire I don’t think many will go for them. Paul.
