RMweb Gold sjrixon Posted April 20 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 20 My backscene, if you can call it that? Was just some blue painted board. I tried a few times to improve it, but I'm not much of an artist, so was never happy with my work. I fianlly caved and bought some of the ID Backscene trees. It's the self sticky version, little more expensive, but I have to say, nice to work with. As you pull off the backing, you can slowly stick it to the backboard. I could even remove and re-stick, when I got it a little wrong. :) so the goods now passing the farm with a new background of trees.. It was of of those things that was holding me back, as I couldn't decide what to do! We can now progress the scenery some more..

RMweb Gold sjrixon Posted July 24 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 24 Started cleaning the track around the ballasted area this morning, I feel like some running could be the order of the day.. But whenever I do, I start to think I should spend the time working on the layout instead..... 1

RMweb Gold sjrixon Posted October 12 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 12 More progress on the dairy. I've pretty much finished the brick work. The front building gained guttering and even a drain that you can't see! Off to the great electric train show on Sunday with my son. Not one I've done before..

My father and I went to it when it was held at the motor museum at Gaydon - the combined entry fee for the museum and the exhibition was less than the normal entry fee for the museum! Somewhat bizarrely, going round the museum we came across a rebuilt garage that had originally been just round the corner from my parents' bungalow in Pembrokeshire!
RMweb Gold sjrixon Posted October 13 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 13 The stadium is certainly an odd location. It was a little cold first thing, and the making tracks team were having issues with their layout.. Good day though. Added a new fish van, actually, next to my kit, both look very smart..
